C12: Party Time!

~Eddie's POV~

Tonight was the big party and my mom, Aleks and I were already at Angelica's house. She was putting on her dress and getting her hair ready.

From there, we were going with my mom to the party; Angelica was going to arrive in a limo with her friends.

"Ay, mijá! Te ves tan bonita! (You look so pretty!)" my mom chirped at Angelica as she turned in her bright pink gown.

"Oh, gracias!" she smiled, then coming over to me.

"What do ya think, primo? (cousin)" she asked.

"You look great! I can't wait to dance with you. This is your big night!" I laughed, stuffing my hands in my pockets.

"I heard almost the whole school was coming, this is gonna so fun!" She giggled, walking back over to my mother and giving her a hug.

"What about you Aleks?" I asked.

"She looks stunning! I've never actually seen a Quinceniera dress before." he spoke hopefully, messing with the buttons on his shirt.

I quietly took his hand without anyone noticing and gave it a small squeeze.

"I lied when I said I wanted to dance with her... I actually really want to dance with you..."

I gently let go of his hand as a dark crimson color spread across his face.

"Fucking asshole." I heard him chuckle under his breath.

Aleks 'checked the time' on his phone for the 3rd time on our way to the party.

"You boys excited?" my mom asked, turning down the radio slightly so we could talk.

"I'm a bit nervous actually, ha ha." Aleks said, scratching the back of his head.

I placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it squeeze.

"Aleks! Don't worry about who's going anymore. Seamus and the guys promised us that we would be fine and that he'd keep Max and Anthony off of us." I smiled at him and moved my hand over to his own.

"If anything, don't you boys even dare get involved with those two!" My mom said sternly, like any mother would, "Just stay with your friends, okay? Be safe."

We pulled up to the rental show room and hopped out of the car, waving our mother off as she went to park the car.

My mom sat with our family, and once I was done saying hello to everyone, Aleks and I found Seamus and the guys sitting at a round table, reserved for us and our girlfriends (or for those who had).

Seamus was sitting beside Eva and next to her was Monica and Jordan. Dan and Liz were on Seamus's side, all happy and made up, sharing small kisses.

Four chairs remained, for us, and for James and his girlfriend, I guess.

Wait, did he evenhave a girlfriend?

We sat on Jordan's side and started chatting a bit as our food was slowly being served by tables.

James soon arrived with a girl I didn't know, and Ani (I think), and an angry looking Anthony.

Shit.

What we didn't notice was that right next to our table, was a table reserved for Anthony and Max's group of friends!
