C14: But why?!

~Seamus' POV~

Nick grunted and held his face as Ani stepped back and shook her hand a bit before curling it into a fist again.

I looked at Anthony, and he looked like he was about to stick a knife up Nick's ass.

He walked up in front of Nick and stared at him as he lay on the floor.

"You're not gonna help me up, bitch?" Nick growled.

Anthony's eyes narrowed before he swung his foot right between Nick's legs.

I think all of us cringed a bit when Nick let out a shrill cry.

"Oooh...!" I heard Jordan whisper.

Ow, that really looked like it hurt.

Nick held himself and rolled over onto his chest. Ani huffed before being engulfed in a giant hug by Anthony.

Ani hugged him back before pulling away and slapping him in the face.

"That's for being an asshat."

Then she pulled him into a kiss.

"That's for beating him up." she motioned to Nick.

"Thanks." she smiled at Anthony.

"I'm sorry, babe... It's just not right what happened to Nick.. I still feel bad for doing that to him." Anthony said solemnly.

"What the hell happened to Nick that gives him the right to almost get Aleks killed?!" I shouted, getting closer to Anthony.

Anthony flinched and looked back at Nick.

Max was with Domi, trying to explain everything to her.

Nick propped himself up with his elbow and let out a shaky breath.

"You wanna know why I treat your friends the way I do?"

We all turned to Nick.

"Because they," he spat, pointing at Eddie and Aleks, "are just like my stupid fag of a father."

Eddie gasped and held onto Aleks.

"When I was 12, my dad left my mom for some guy up in Atlanta... an old buddy of his. Our family fell apart and we had to move here. He left my mom, for a gay son of a bitch!" he grit is teeth a stood up.

"No one should have to deal with that! I grew up moving from school to school, having to leave the last one because somehow, someone found out about my... dad. I landed here and made sure no one would ever find out... then I saw them!!!" He pointed a finger and Aleks and Eddie.

"Fucking fags! They don-"

"Shut the fuck up, Nick! Just because your dad left your mom for some guy, doesn't mean all gay people are bad news!" James raged.

~Aleks' POV~

I heard shouting and I felt really cold and warm at the same time.

I was awake but I couldn't move.... so I listened.

Nick's dad was gay?!

What the hell?!

~Eddie's POV~

I felt Aleks flinched in my arms, and I held him tighter, trying to get him conscious.
