C17: Fucking GreenShells!!!

I gripped my controller and leaned back into my bed as I sat on the floor in front of my bed next to Eddie. The race began and I dashed my King Boo forward. The extra boost put me in 3rd place, right behind Eddie.

I grabbed a mystery block and got one red shell. I launched it forward, expecting Eddie to get hit, but he countered it with a banana.

"Oh, get gawked kid!" He giggled as he continued forward.

I growled and shook my controller up as we reached the wavy part of the map for extra boost. I pulled ahead of Eddie but I was instantly shot down with a green shell.

"How the fuck?! No fucking way! UGH!" Great, now I'm in 5th!

"OHOH! Guess who's in first!" Eddie cheered as he shook his controller up to wheelie across the finish line and down the steep ramp.

Alright it's barely first lap, I can still win.

--One Lap Later--

God dammit, he's right in front of me! I chase his tail to get a bit more acceleration.

I'm about to pass him, until he sends a green shell behind him, hitting my Boo head on.

His Yoshi crosses the finish line in first place and I take 3rd.

Oh shit.
