Jungkook had no idea that Taehyung had overheard his conversation last night. In fact, he didn't even expect Taehyung to be awake. If there was one thing he learned on the flight it was that Taehyung slept like a rock so he didn't think he'd be awake anytime soon when he brought Jaehyung over.

So the next day when he felt the absence of Taehyung's normally cocky aura, he was a little bit confused. Had something happened while he was gone? Was Taehyung sick?

Most of all, why did he care so much? Taehyung had been nothing but an asshole to him their entire time knowing each other, Jungkook had no reason to care about why Taehyung's mood had shifted.

But still... it was odd.

"What are your plans for the day?" Jungkook asked in an attempt to start a small conversation. If they were going to be living together during this thing, might as well get used to talking to him.

Taehyung looked over at him, confusion written across his features. "Me?"

Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "You're the only other person in here."

"Right." He mumbled and went back to unpacking his suitcase, putting piles of folded clothes in the built-in dresser underneath his bed. "Um, might just hang out here and make the place more home-y."

"Not going to hang out with Jimin? I thought you guys were, like, best friends." Jungkook asked, genuinely curious.

"I guess. He made plans with Yoongi, though." Taehyung muttered and Jungkook could have sworn he picked up a hint of sadness in his voice but... he wasn't sure. That didn't seem like Taehyung. "What about you?"

"Hanging out with Jaehyung and his friend Dowoon." Jungkook answered, deciding to ignore Taehyung's odd behavior.

Taehyung nodded quietly. "We start the actual course tomorrow, right?"

"Yep." Jungkook responded, popping the p. "For the next week the group is gonna see all the learning opportunities and places we'll be doing things at, and then after that we're on our own."

"No group projects?"

"Ah- No, there is one." Jungkook remembered much to his dismay. "The two of us have to explore a part of American culture, so like... I know Jaehyung and his partner are going to check out this music institute place to learn about America's music culture."

Taehyung stared at him. "Oh. So... what do you want to do?"

Jungkook shrugged. "Well I don't know. We are both incredibly different people so I guess we have to compromise. I've always had an interest in art and painting, that sort of—"

"You? Seriously?" Taehyung stifled a laugh, heavily amused. "So do you like to draw pretty flowers around campus?" He cooed teasingly, earning a heavy glare from the latter.

"Yes." He said, dead serious. "But not just flowers and not just drawing."

Taehyung nodded as he thought about this new information.

"Ah." He responded, looking away. He supposed it made sense. Jungkook was a dancer, it wasn't that surprising that he'd take interest in other art forms as well.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, muttering something under his breath. Taehyung wasn't completely sure what he said, but it sounded like something along the lines of 'dumbass.'

Taehyung resisted the urge to cringe. He guess that's what he was presenting himself as, wasn't it?

"Well we could do something with the art stuff, if you want..."
