Adopted~Ezria (Book 2)

At the Hospital Part 1

Ezra's POV:

We are still in the ambulance and the whole ride, Aria keeps screaming in pain from the knife worn.

2 minutes later

We arrive at the hospital and they wheel Aria to a empty room but they said that I couldn't go with her so I went to check up on Avery. I go to the front desk and ask for Avery Fitz, the lady points me to a room and said that I was allowed to go in. 

I knocked on the door. I opened the door.

"Hey Avery, how are you and hey Caleb" I say as I walk into the room.

"Hey" They both say in unison.

"Yeah I am good but how is Aria, where is she, is she hurt" Avery asks as I sit down in one of the chairs that is in the room.

"Thomas flung a knife into her thigh and they both raped her so she is in a lot of pain, they wont allow me to see her now so I thought I could spend the time here" I say as Ella runs up to me so she can sit on my lap.

"Wait, what" Avery yells as she starts to cry.

"Hey, don't cry, she is going to be ok" I say.

"I know but this is all my fault, she got hurt because I told Ella about them beating me up, then she told you" She tells.

"Hey, none of this is your fault because you got hurt trying to save Aria's life but you should of told us instead you being you hospital twice because of them. Now lets stop talking about who's fault it is" I say.

"Ok" She tells me as she gives me a little grin.

1 hour later

It has been a hour since we have been at the hospital.

We were just talking when we here a knock on a door. The doctor comes in.

"Oh hello, you must be Ezra Fitz" The doctor says as he comes closer to me.

"Yes that is me, is Aria alright" I ask as I stand up to shake his hand.

"She is fine, we had to put her to sleep while we stitched her leg up just like we did with Avery but she should be awake soon, so you can go and wait in her room if you would like" He says.

"Ok, thanks doctor for everything" I say as the doctor walks out of the room.

"So Avery, is alright if I go and see how Aria is" I ask Avery.

"Of course it is alright" She says.

I walk out of the room, down the hall to the third door on the right. I walk in to see Aria sleeping so peacefully with her right leg elevated. I go and sit in a chair next to her bed, I grabbed her hand, I held it up to my lips and kissed it.

30 minutes later

I have been sitting here holding her hand while waiting for her to wake up when I see her eyes flutter open.

"Hey beautiful, how are you" I whisper.

"Hey, I feel ok but my leg hurts a lot. AHHH" She says as she starts too scream in pain.

"Hey Aria, it is alright. I will go grab the doctor" I say as I rush out the door to see the doctor shuffling through papers.

"Doctor, something is wrong. She is screaming in pain, is there something you could give her like painkillers" I ask as he puts the papers down.

"Ok sure, I will be in right away" He says as he grabs a little bottle of something and heads straight into Aria's room.

5 minutes later

The doctor gave Aria some painkillers and has left the rom so it leaves Aria and I alone in the room. 

"So how is your leg now" I ask as she looks up at me.

"Its ok" She says as we both start to fall asleep.
