The Punch up

At school

Ezra's POV:

School has started and Avery is in Aria's class at the moment and Ella is with me in my office.

"Ella, I am going to walk the halls near mummy's classroom so I will give you my phone and stand at the door so you can here what is happening. If Avery is badly hurt I am going to yell out to you to ring 911. After I yell that out I will need you to go to mummy's classroom and tell her what has happened and stay with her in case someone tries to take her" I tell her as I hand her my phone.

"Ok daddy, but just make sure Avery is alright" She says as she gives me a big cuddle.

"I will never let anyone hurt you, Avery or Aria" I tell her as I walk out the door.

I walk down the halls to hear people talking and loud hitting sounds. I walk closer to Aria's classroom and see six boys kicking, hitting and punching her. Her whole body was marked, bleeding and bruised.

"Boys enough, go back to class" I yell but not loud enough to get the student and teachers attention. 

"Ella, call 911" I yell as I pick Avery up and carried her outside to wait for the ambulance.

Aria's POV:

I was teaching the class when the door flung open.

"Mummy" She yells as she runs over to me to pick her up.

"Ok class, continue to read To Kill A Mockingbird chapter 3-5" I say as I take Ella out to the halls.

"What's wrong darling" I ask I put her down kneel down so I am her hight.

"The ambulance took Avery to the hospital with daddy" She tells me as she starts to cry. 

"Hey it's ok, tell me why she had to go to the hospital" I tell her.

"She got beaten up again, it's been happening every time she asks to go to the toilet in the middle of your class and she has been covering herself with makeup" She tells me.

"Oh, it's ok, lets go to the hospital" I tell her as I pick her up.

"You can't, daddy told me to look after you in your classroom" She says as she buries her head in the crook of my neck.

"Why" I ask.

"Because Avery couldn't tell anyone about being beaten up or they said that someone was going to take you" She tells me.

"Ok, so now you are going to sit behind my desk and play my phone until first period is over, and I have a free period next so I will take you to the hospital so we can see how Avery is going" I say as I hand her my phone.

We walk back into the classroom and Ella immediately goes and sits behind my desk. The class is still reading To Kill A Mockingbird. My buzzes as Ella hands me my phone.

So we arrived at the hospital in the ambulance, don't know what's wrong yet but should know soon. I know you have a free period next so you can come up to the hospital but before you leave school, you have ask the vice principal to teach your classes and sign Avery out at the office. Love you,

I give my phone back to Ella and continue to mark papers.
