The Next Morning

Ezra's POV:

It is 5 am in the morning, and for some reason I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep.

So I go down stairs while Aria isn't awake so I can plan a surprise for her birthday, her birthday is in 2 days.

I walk into the living room and saw Ella just sitting there all alone.

"Ella, what are you doing down here all alone" I ask as I walk towards her.

"Um, thing" She says.

"Thinking about what" I ask as I sit next to her.

"The kids that keep hurting Avery, everyday that she goes to school" She answers.

"Wait, what, she is getting hurt every day at school, how" I ask.

"Well, she told me, every time she is in mummy's class, she asks to go to the toilet and different kids each day beats her up, she's not allowed to tell anyone or they said that they are going to kidnap mummy" She answers as she shuffles closer to hug me.

"Oh don't you worry about that, for the next week, I will make sure that I walk the halls near mummy's classroom so I can catch them, also how does she not have any bruises" I ask as I let go of her.

"Well she has been covering it up with makeup" She says as she starts to get tear eyed.

"Hey, I will make sure that she stays safe but for right now maybe you could help me plan something for mummy's birthday which is in 2 days" I say as I stand up.

"Ok, but make sure you look after Avery please daddy" She says as she stands up next to me and grabs my hand.

"Ella, I will never let anyone hurt you, Avery or mummy, so now lets start planning" I say.

"Ok so maybe you could take mummy out for dinner while Avery and I plan a surprise party for her when you get back from your dinner. We will spend the whole day inviting people and then when you take her out, we will come back and decorate and then you send us a text when you are on your way back" She says.

"That is a great idea, good work Ella, now because you helped me with that, do you want to come to work with mummy, Avery and I or you could go to day care" I ask.

"Can I go to work with you guys" She asks as Avery walks in the room.

"Sure and good morning Avery" I say as I turn my gaze to Avery.

"Good morning" She says as she walks closer.

"Ok, do you know if Aria is still asleep" I ask.

"Yeah, I walked passed her room and found that she was lying in the middle of the bed but you do know it is 5:30 in the morning" She says as she sits next us at the table.

"We do but more importantly, it is Aria's birthday in 2 days, so you and Ella are going to go over Hanna and Caleb's for the day and invite people to Aria's surprise party" I say.

"But where will we have it" She asks.

"We will have it here because it is bigger plus you have to tell people to bring togs, so you, Ella, Hanna and Caleb are going to set up while I take Aria out to dinner and I will text you when we are heading back" I say.

By the time I had stopped talking, it was 6.

"Ok" She answers as I get up to make coffee for me and Aria.

"Oh, and by the way I bought Aria a new bikini set for her birthday and some very expensive jewellery" I say as I grab both cups of coffee and head up the stairs.

I get up to our room and put both the mugs of coffee on Aria's bed side table and then I heard her phone buzz. Who would be texting her at 6:10 in the morning, I opened the text to see that it was a blocked ID. 

I'm back bitch, did you miss me also watch out because revenge is mine for your English Teacher husband to kill my Aunty.

After I read the text, I saw Aria starting to wake up.

"Hey beautiful, don't want to ruin your morning but read this, its from A" I say as I hand Aria her phone.

"So now I have to watch out" She says getting tearing eyes.

"Hey, it's ok, come here" I say as I give her a hug while I grab her mug of coffee and give it to her.

"But Ezra, I'm scared" She says as she buries her head in the crook of my neck.

"I know but remember, it's your birthday in 2 days, what do you want to do because I have organised the girls to go over to Hannah and Cale's for the day and I am taking you out for dinner" I say as she looks into my eyes.

"Maybe we could just relax all day" She says.

"Ok, also how old are you turning, like 17,18" I ask with a little chuckle.

"I wish but if I was then I wouldn't be married to the most amazing guy ever, and I am turning 25" She says.

"Ok, lets go down stairs and say hello to the girls"
