Sacrifices Need to be Made

Zelda's POV:

I stood there in shock as Link struggled against the many enemies surrounding him. I blasted some monsters near me and tried to run to him. I was so close but got pinned down by Dark Link. He smirked at me, his red eyes piercing my gray-blue ones. "Nuh uh Princess." I watched in dismay as he lifted his sword up. This is it for me I thought. At least it's me and not Link. But my heart dropped as he got off of me and ran towards Link. Time seemed to slow as I watched the pure black blade sink into Link's back. I screamed and sent a blast everywhere. All the monsters died and all that was left was a weakened Dark Link and my Link. Link turned and jabbed his sword into Dark Link's chest. They both dropped. I scrambled over to Link and layed his head on my lap. "You're gonna be okay. Help is coming. Just hang in there Link." He looked up at me. "Z-Zelda... I... I'm glad you're o-okay." He turned and coughed up some blood. I tore a piece of my dress off and pressed it to his wounds. He looked back at me and put an hand on my cheek, caressing it. "Link." I whispered tearing up. "Yes Zelda?" He said speaking softly. I put my forehead to his. "I love you. I love you, so much." He smiled. "I love you too Zelda. I always have and always will. Even if I die." He took my very first kiss that night. Help arrived and he was taken to an infirmary. He survived but in the process lost his leg. It was replaced later on. He has sacrificed so much just for me. He says that those sacrifices were his choice. "If I didn't make those choices, you would've died." He frowned a bit. "And if you died I wouldn't have anything left to live for." He gave me a bright smile. I gave him a kiss on the cheek. I guess sacrifices do need to be made most times.

There we go. We're all done this chapter. I'm glad some of you enjoy my stories. I'm hoping I can get better at writing. I feel like since my mating season book I've been getting better at it. Even though this is a fan fic, I do have a book I'm working on. It might take months or more because I am not publishing it until every chapter has been properly finished and reviewed.
