the four walked the injured boy to the pharmacy, in hope to get medical supplies.

"do any of you even know what to do?" stan rudely asked.

eddie nodded and began naming off items they had to get.

"someone sh-should s-stay here w-with him." bill said.

the four, including the wounded boy, looked at richie who had shouted a curse word.

that left, eddie, stan, bill and savannah to go into the pharmacy and get the supplies.

the kids ran into the store, ignoring the pharmacists welcoming them, except for eddie who stopped to thank the man.

instantly, eddie began grabbing medical supplies off the shelves and handing it to the kids.

"eddie," savannah stopped him. "how are we gonna pay for all of this?"

eddie felt so stupid. he didn't think about that. "shit."

"don't you have an account here?" stan asked.

eddie shook his head. "if my mom found out i was buying all this stuff, she take me to the hospital for the whole month."

savannah laughed, but stopped quickly after she realized eddie wasn't joking.

their discussion was interrupted by a girl with long red hair. her name was beverly. savannah only knew the girl from hearing rumors around the school. of course, she didn't believe any of them.

beverly quickly hid a bag of pads behind her back, thankfully savannah was the only one who recognized the item.

"a-are you okay?" bill asked, walking slightly closer to her.

beverly nodded. "what's all that for?"

"none of your business." stan rudely told her, rolling his brown orbs.

savannah shot him a look. "stan."

"there's a boy out there who looks like he got murdered." eddie told her, putting emphasis on the word 'murdered'.

"we need this stuff to help him," savannah said, getting interrupted by bill.

"w-w don't h-ave enough m-money."

beverly nodded. "i have an idea."

she approached the front counter, moving the bag of pads in front of her so that the boys didn't see them.

she older girl began distracting the man by complimenting him and 'accidentally' knocking something over on his desk.

the losers took advantage of his distraction and ran out of the store.

"that was fucking awesome." eddie said
