savannah woke up in eddie's arms. she smiled and decided it was best not to get up. she didn't want to wake the asthmatic boy.

savannah laid there, in the comfort of eddie. she listened as his breaths were slow and soft.

savannah adored everything about eddie. to the way his nose was placed on his face, to the way his lips curved when he smiled.

eddie's brown orbs began to flutter.

savannah smiled at the sight. "good morning."

"morning sav." eddie said in a raspy tone.

savannah smiled at the nickname eddie had given her. "what're we doing today spaghetti man?"

eddie rolled his eyes at the name he had repeatedly told her not to calm him.

"what do you want to do?" eddie asked her through a yawn.

"let's see a movie," savannah suggested. "nightmare on elm street?"

eddie did not like scary movies. he hated them. he had nightmares and everywhere the boy went, he imagined getting slaughtered.

eddie nodded, not wanting to disappoint the girl.

"shit," eddie began to panic. "what time is it?"

savannah quickly looked at her phone and told eddie the time. "10:26."

"fuck." eddie whisper yelled. he quickly got out of the bed and ran to her window.

"i'll see you later sav." he said before hopping out of the window and cursing repeatedly as he did so.

eddie had left his window open from last night to make it easier for his entrance.

he quickly hopped inside the window and closed it behind him.

thankfully, his mom hadn't noticed he was gone or else the police would be searching the neighborhood.

eddie wiped away the sweat that dropped from his forehead.

he took a quick shower before picking out an outfit.

eddie picked out overalls and a striped shirt. the boy also pick out his converse.

his hair was messy, which complimented his loose curls very well.

the boy looked at his appearance and smiled.

once again, he lathered his skin in cologne.

eddie grabbed his phone and texted savannah.

eddie: you ready?

savannah: yes sir

eddie: on my way

savannah: okay!

eddie walked downstairs and was very confused not to see his mother's car in the driveway.

"mommy?" he called, not getting a response.

eddie took this to his advantage and left his house.

he crossed the street and knocked on savannah's door.

he was greeted by her smiling face.

she closed the door and pulled eddie in for a hug.

"hi." she said, not able to stop smiling.

eddie didn't say anything, he just pulled her in tighter.

the two bought their tickets for the movie and of course, a bucket of popcorn.

eddie was not excited for this movie.

the two found seats in the semi packed theatre.

eddie watched as trailers for other movies played. savannah did not. her eyes were on eddie.

eddie turned to look at her. savannah didn't look away, she let her eyes sit on his freckled skin.

eddie smiled at her, blushing.

x

halfway through the movie, eddie had already been screaming more than savannah.

savannah giggled at eddie's girly scream.

eddie had found himself grasping savannah's hand when the scenes were too much to handle himself.

savannah made a mistake making eddie hold the popcorn, because the kettles were scattered around the theatre due to eddie jumping at the scares.

once the movie was over, eddie took a deep breath. many people shot him dirty looks before exiting the theatre. eddie apologized for his obnoxious yelling, but only got called curse words.

the two exited the cinema laughing.

"you screamed more than anyone in there." savannah exclaimed.

"wanna go get ice cream?" eddie asked.

savannah nodded.

"you can pay this time, lover boy."

eddie was quickly interrupted by the sound of his phone. it was his mom.

mommy: get home now edward.

"shit, it's my mom." eddie spoke.

"i have to go." eddie ran off before hugging the girl.

savannah frowned, but quickly smiled as she saw richie by himself.

"hey rich." savannah said, approaching him with a smile.

"hey doll face." richie said, pushing up his glasses.

savannah rolled her eyes. "are you busy?"

richie shook his head. "you finally wanna fuck?"

savannah pushed the boy playfully. "no, i was wondering if you wanted to get ice cream with me?"

richie scoffed. "that works too."

greta keene watched as the two walked into the parlor. lucky for her, she knew exactly where to find eddie.
