eddie had a smile painted on his lips. his crush for over 3 years likes him back.

eddie wanted to see savannah. he needed to see savannah.

it was currently 3:47 am and all eddie wanted to do was see the girl.

eddie didn't know what was wrong with him. he would never disrespect his mother usually, but savannah was an acception.

eddie: hey dreamer girl?

eddie: are you awake?

savannah: i'm awake

savannah: what's up

eddie: why do you like me?

savannah: a lot of reasons eddie

eddie: why not richie?

savannah: richie is too much for me

eddie: would you ever consider dating me?

savannah: of course ed's

eddie: don't call me that

savannah: sorry lover boy

eddie: when can i see you again

savannah: whenever you want

eddie: now

savannah: it's almost three am!

eddie: i want to see you now.

savannah: your lucky my mom is never home

savannah: but what about yours

eddie: she's asleep

eddie: i'll be right there

eddie felt like a completely different person. he would never do anything like this.

before eddie knew it, he was climbing into savannah's window.

"hey dreamer girl." eddie smiled, closing the window behind him.

before the girl could respond, eddie unzipped his fanny pack and pulled out a small carry on hand sanitizer.

he put a little bit in the palm of his hand and rubbed his hands together.

savannah looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"there's a lot of mold and rust on your roof." eddie explained.

savannah laughed and pulled the boy into a hug.

once the two pulled away, savannah found herself staring at the freckled boy for a bit longer then she should.

eddie noticed the girls brown eyes on him. he blushed and looked at his feet.

eddie wanted savannah. he wanted to call her his. he wanted to kiss her and tell her how beautiful she was.

"eddie," savannah whispered. "i like you."

eddie's face was now flushed with red color. she had told him this before, but never in person.

"i like you too." eddie said, smiling.

the two were left in silence, but not an awkward silence, a comforting silence.

"i'm tired ed's." savannah yawned.

usually, the boy would tell her not to call him that, but something about her being cuddled into him made him not care.

eddie looked down at the girl with admiration in his eyes. "goodnight dreamer girl."

"goodnight lover boy."

when eddie was sure savannah was asleep, he placed a small kiss on her head.

"i wish you were awake for that."

to eddies surprise, she spoke.

"oh but eddie, i was."
