richie and savannah sat across from each other in the same booth savannah and eddie sat the first time they came to the parlor.

of course, their time at the parlor consisted of richie constantly making dirty jokes.

some of which savannah found stupid, others were surprisingly funny.

savannah's smiled faded when she saw eddie walk into the parlor, arm locked with greta keene's.

savannah blinked away the tears that she knew would fall if she hadn't.

richie had looked at the expression on the girls face and turned around to see what she had been so saddened by.

sure enough, there eddie was buying greta ice cream.

"that shit face." richie insulted, turning back to savannah who had been approaching the two, clutching her ice cream cone.

she stood in front of them, richie behind her.

greta was the first to notice the girl.

"hey sav." she fluttered her eye lashes, licking her ice cream innocently.

"hey greta." savannah mocked the eye lash flutter over dramatically, causing richie to snicker.

eddie turned to the girl with a shocked expression. "listen sav,"

he was interrupted by an ice cream cone smashing into his face.

savannah made sure to smear the ice cream into his pale skin.

greta's eyes widened at the girls actions. "that was uncalled for."

savannah shrugged. "then i guess so is this."

savannah grabbed the cone full of ice cream out of richie's grasp, smashing it into greta's face before walking out of the parlor.

richie followed her.

"that was hot."

the boy quickly stopped making jokes when he realized the girl was crying.

richie's eyes went soft as he watched tears stain her skin.

"hey," richie spoke softly. "it's okay."

richie pulled her into a hug, rubbing her back with his thumb.

"rich," savannah sniffled. "could you get bev and come over to my place in a few?"

richie nodded.

the girl continued crying as she walked alone to her house.

she was heartbroken.
