Chapter Twenty-Six~

-Ciel's POV-

We finally got back home, Yami went to stay with Hunter and Zack and I was at Fray's house that he shared with Kendal. Hunter told me to rest, Zack had went out and bought me prenatal vitamins and filled Fray's pantry with things I should eat. Things that I planned to let expire.

I had taken a nap and woke up with a start, panting hard.

Fray's hand brushed my hair. "Stop having nightmares."

"I haven't," I told him with a scoff.

"You've had nightmares every night since I got you back," Fray told him. "You wake up two to four times a night, most times you shove yourself into my arms, other times you go to the restroom and sit in there for hours...I'm telling you to stop."

When I opened my mouth to protest, he placed his hand over it.

"I will kill anyone who hurts you," he told me, his eyes unwavering. "I am going to kill anyone who's ever hurt you, I will protect our child, I won't die, do you hear me? No one is ever going to tear us apart. I know you're stronger than you were three years ago, I'd be stupid not to know how many people you've killed. But I'm here now, I'll kill everyone and anything that threatens you."

"You're psychotic," I mumbled, looking away.

"You're in love with me," he murmured nuzzling my neck lovingly. "I'm crazy for you."

"Shut up!" I shoved his face away, looking away embarrassed.

"You can't act shy," he told me pushing me down into the bed as he hovered over me.

"I'm not shy," I growled.

He grinned, pushing my shirt up. "Good."

Months Later-

Hunter, Zack, and Yami hadn't told us a thing about the Council, and I was fat. I was a beached whale. How could a baby be inside me, this baby was going to be huge! I had to roll off the bed now, I couldn't tie my shoes! I had to wear sweatpants everywhere and oversized t-shirts. And it didn't look cute. Fray told me I was beautiful everyday, but he was lying.

I had to stop to catch my breath when I was eating cereal! Like I was drowning in milk. I was so out of shape the Council wouldn't recognize me, and I wasn't allowed outside. The baby kicked so hard that my ribs felt out of place almost all the time.

"Thomas?" Alan offered.

"Thomas?" Fray arched a disapproving brow.

"Skye?" Kendal continued.

"Eh..." Fray shrugged.

"Valerie?" Alan continued.

"Jason," Kendal said.

"Elliot?" Alan told him.

"Andie or Andy," Kendal said with an excited face.

I was glaring. It had been hours of nonstop baby names. Hours!

"It's so hard when we don't know if it's a boy or girl," Alan groaned.

"Too bad you can't dress Ciel up as a girl and take him to a doctor," Kendal murmured and I glared even harder, I wanted to see him turn into swiss cheese.

"Why not?" Alan asked, perking up.

"Because they're going to want to swab his non existent pussy," Kendal explained.

"How would you know?" Alan asked surprised.

"It's common sense," Fray told him. "Something you lack."
