Chun Hwa's pov

With a silly smile, she entered her house. She had never thought that Jimin could be this interesting and kind. His laugh, really was infectious to the point that she couldn't even stop grinning during their entire unexpected walk.

While putting her shoes away, Chun Hwa realised a figure sat at the table, in the dark living room, with its arms crossed.

" Who was that boy?" the figure asked, to which she rolled her eyes.

" Just a friend."

"We're definitly not friends yet, but I can't possibly say I let some boy I barely know, walk me home."

" Well, I hope so", the figure continued mockingly.

" Oppa," Chun Hwa replied with a stoic expression on her face," I think you should mind your own business."

The atmosphere surrounding the eldest Kim siblings was as deadly as the silence that followed after she muttered those words. The cheerful mood, that Chun Hwa had entered her house with had long been replaced with visible tension.

Chun Hwa felt a wave of anger, desperation and dissapointment coming from her older brother. She understood the anger, but not the other two feelings. What was he dissapointed about? He himself had caused the animosity between them. It had all started five years ago. During the time that the entire family had needed him, he had vanished, without a trace. As if their family wasn't broken enough, he had put salt on those wounds and had left them without a single warning. And ever since he came back a few months ago, he suddenly started to act like he was her father. As if it was his place to do so, after he had let her down, when she had needed him the most.

The day their father had left them, she had lost her brother, her pillar of strength, too.

Not wanting to delve deeper into his feelings and the dark pages of their family history, she just shook her head and turned away from him, more than ready to escape the suffocating aura around them.

To be honest, she had wanted him to stop her from leaving. She wanted her older brother to apologise and admit his mistakes.

" Damn his pride", she thought bitterly, when she didn't hear him coming after her.

" Damn him."

She left Kyungsoo sitting there all alone in the dark of the living room, his expression, cold and distant as always, as he took a sip of his tea.

After realising her mom and her two other brothers weren't home, she sighed and let herself fall on her bed. Chun Hwa's thoughts drifted off to Jimin again and a little smile adorned her face, as she touched her glowing cheeks. He had always seemed so quiet and reserved whenever she saw him.
