Chun Hwa's povChun Hwa was in the library again, sitting at a table with her books open and a pen in her hand. Filling all the pages in her notebook, with her cursive handwriting. Jotting down, all the extra information she had researched about the influence of sleep deprivation on the cognitive memory.
With her schedule next to her notebook, she could keep track of time and work as fast and efficient as she possibly could to finish all her essays for the coming week.
At least, that's how she had imagined her day to look like.
Chun Hwa, was in fact, soundly sleeping in the library with her head resting on her open books and a little bit of drool coming out of her mouth. But a sudden loud, creaking of the large entrance door made her jerk awake.
Sleepily but hastily she sat up straight and pretended to study. What could she say, she was always good in fooling everyone into thinking that she was a good student.
(A/n: tsk tsk such a fake bitch)She heard footsteps approaching the tables and when a flash of pink appeared from behind the bookshelves, her entire being stiffened as her heart started beating crazily.
After their eyes had met, about three days ago, he had been on her mind quite a few times. She didn't know why, but something about Jimin made her want to know more about him.
Finally he arrived at the study tables, and when he noticed Chun Hwa, he stood still. As if he was caught by surprise. He soon got out of his sudden trance, cleared his throat and smiled a bit before looking away. Jimin made his way to the table in front of hers and put his backpack down after fishing his books out of it.
He looked really nonchalant and not nervous at all, while Chun Hwa could feel her heart beating relentlessly loud. But she shrugged it off and opened her laptop. The hour of sleep made her feel surprisingly energetic and felt refreshed. She cracked her knuckles and put on a stern face.
" It's time to get some work done."
Jimin's pov
"Why is it so hot here?" Jimin wondered while subtly fanning himself.
Half an hour had passed and Jimin found it exceptionally hard to concentrate, even though the library was empty, except for him and Chun Hwa. After sitting down, he had only glanced at her once, secretly observing her while she was typing really fast with an emotionless face. He'd never seen her like that, she was usually goofing around or just softly smiling at her friends. He found it kind of ... attractive?
" Wait no, Jimin what the hell focus on your work," he thought while shaking his head, as if he was trying to shake the thought out of his brain.
" But she actually really seems like a good student, maybe a little bit of a nerd?"
Again, his attention turned to the girl, who had been plaguing his mind lately. He let out a sigh and closed his book, disappointed in himself. But suddenly an idea popped in his head.
" What if I ask her if I could borrow her notes?"
He smiled proudly at his genius idea, this way, he wouldn't have to read the long, boring chapter in their actual textbook AND he had an excuse to talk to her. The boy almost gave himself a pat on the back for being this smart.
But when he lifted his head up to ask her he saw something he hadn't expected.
Chun Hwa sat there, looking at her screen, silently laughing while munching on some crisps.
