Chun Hwa" Don't forget to prepare your assignment, otherwise you'll be sitting here for nothing next week's lecture. Alright, have a nice weekend. "
The word "weekend" wasn't even pronounced, as all the students stood up to leave the auditorium.
" Little shits." the professor sighed dejectedly into the mic.
" I wholeheartedly agree", Chun Hwa whispered to him as she was the first one to open the door to leave.
A headache was making its way into her head, as she was making her way across the courtyard, throbbing painfully because of the sea of emotions she was experiencing because of that packed room.
As fast as she could, she ran to the library, trying to cover her face from the cold wind and ice.
" Ugh there it is, my holy sanctuary, my real house, my baby, my everything." She thought as she saw the large heavy doors of the library.
Soon after she was able to push the blessed doors and step inside her favorite place in the entire world. The library was always empty, especially on fridays.
" I didn't see Jimin during the last lecture ... maybe he forgot about our study session?"
But she only had a second to think that, before she saw a mop of pink hair, a beautiful contrast with the dull mauves, blacks and greens of the books behind him.
A smile spread on her face as she saw him reading a book. The way he sat there, engrossed in this world that some writer had created, reading every line with a little frown marring his face. It all looked like a painting, a beautiful painting full of life, magic and serenity.
As the shallow winterlight fell on the left side of his face, Chun Hwa's heart skipped a beat. Her hands were itching, to touch him, to reassure herself that he was real and she wasn't just dreaming.
" Damn Chun Hwa, snap out of it, since when are you so invested in this boy?"
At last she made her way towards him, he lifted his head and smiled a contagious smile.
Chun Hwa smiled back, somewhat shyly.
" Hey you're pretty fast. The last lecture ended three minutes ago." He laughed. " Do you have skills you're hiding?" He said while smirking mischievously.
Chun Hwa chuckled loudly.
" Oh you have no idea."
She sat herself on the chair across him and put her bag on the chair next to her.
" So, tell me, why weren't you in class?"
Jimin shuffled uncomfortably at that. " To be honest, I get really bad headaches from time to time, so I didn't go today."
" Oh, I completely understand. But uhh- if you're still hurting you can go home. I mean, we can do this another da-"
" No!", Jimin interrupted her quickly shaking both his hands, " I mean, no it's fine I'm feeling much better now."
" Are you sure?" Chun Hwa asked unsure.
" Yes definitely, look I'm alllrightttt."
