It's New Year's Eve and I am going crazy over the party my boyfriend of 4 months Leroy is throwing. I. Definitely going because not only is it my boyfriends party and I went to spend the New Years with him, I also am going to meet his family.
It's currently 4pm and the party is at 11 so I still have plenty of time to get ready. I turned my Netflix on and watch all my favourite shows while scrolling through social media. Before I know it, my best friend shows up in my room to help me get ready. I choose a dress that goes to my thighs, with lace a laced body and long sleeves with my beige open toed heels. I apply some makeup making it look natural and cute at the same time. I curled the ends of me hair and they fell down past my shoulders. As soon as I was ready she dropped me of at his house.
I stepped out of the car and people were already there. I made my way into the house and was greeted my Leroy. "Baby! You're here!" He runs up to me smiling and giving me a big hug. "You look beautiful."
"Thank you you look handsome as always."
"So this must be the lovely girl my son is happy with." A woman around her late 40's comes up to me giving me a hug.
"Hello Mrs Sané." I say politely back.
"Please call me Regina. His father Souleyman should've been here to see you but he is busy right now and can't make it."
"It's ok. I'll look foreword to seeing him one day."
Leroy went off with his mum so I went to get a drink and then get on the dance floor.
After dancing for about 40 minutes. I got tired and everyone was getting ready for the countdown to start. Everyone was excited about their New Years kiss but Leroy was nowhere to be found so I stood there by myself watching everyone.
"Hey hottie." A drunk guy slurred from behind me and I scrunched up my nose in disgust. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into him.
"Let got of my hands or I'll get my boyfriend!" I gritted and he just chuckled.
"Getting angry already, are we?" He slurred again and his breath smelt so bad it knocked me sick.
"Let go of me or else I'm going to do something to you that will make you regret talking to me for your entire life." I spat and he smirked.
"Feisty girls turn me on." He said and before I had the chance he knee him in the balls, someone from behind me already punched him and now he's lying on the floor unconscious. I turn around and she Leroy and Regina.
I hug him and he hugs back. "You guys are so cute, you did good son." Regina said before walking of. I thank him and walk to the balcony as the countdown would start soon.
We looked into the horizon as the countdown went off.
10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" I screamed and when I turned my head to face Leroy he pulled me in for a passionate kiss underneath the colourful explosions. I wrap my arms around his neck and played with the ends of his soft hair. The kiss was perfect. Best start to 2018 ever!
