As I opened my eyes, I felt odd. As if something was off. With sleepy eyes I looked round my room.
"About time, isn't it sleepy head." I looked to where the voice was coming from. To my surprise the owner of the voice was non other than Joshua.
"W-what are you doing in my room?!" I screamed.
"Shush. I told you I'd be here by ten. Your mom let me in." He explained.
"Yeah, by ten. Comeback in an hour or so." I said as I fell back covering my head with a pillow.
"Um. Sleeping beauty, would you mind checking the time for me please?" I could sense the smirk playing on his face.
I reached for my phone. As I turned the screen on it was already eleven. "Is this for real? When, how?" I turned to Joshua. "Would you mind getting out. I'll be ready in ten minutes."
Without another word he left. I quickly jumped into the shower then got dressed. I dried and brushed my hair and headed to the kitchen where Joshua and mom were sitting.
I took an apple. "Do you want one as well?" I asked gesturing to the apples.
"Sure. Thank you." He smiles as I threw him one. "Shall we go then?" He asked. I just nodded.
"Bye mom."
"Have fun." She waved at me as we walked out.
"Why didn't you just wake me?" I asked as we walked towards the train station. "And where are you taking me anyways?"
"I didn't wake you since you were sleeping so peacefully. You're cute when you're asleep." He paused. "And as to where were going. It's a secret. You'll find out soon enough."
"You're a pervert."
"Now that I think about it. That was the second time I've watched you sleep." He smirked observing my reaction.
I could feel my cheeks getting warm. I totally forgot about the time I fell asleep on the bus. Why did he have to remind me. "Even bigger pervert." I looked at the ground letting my hair cover my face from the pervert's view.
"Till when did you study last night anyways?"
"How did you know I was studying?"
"Anyone who known you for longer than a minute would have been able to guess."
"You have a point, I guess. To be honest I don't know till when but I know it was past three, maybe five or six. I just wanted to get as much studying done so I wouldn't fall behind."
"You're a dummy, you know that? Why would you stay up so late, or early. See. Because of you I don't even know which term to use."
"Sorry." I said plainly. Why did I even apologize. I mean it was his fault I was studying this late. I almost didn't get any sleep thanks to him. All the more reasons I shouldn't have apologize.
~Joshua's P.O.V~
Once the train started moving Jaehyo's head started swaying. It was actually very adorable to watch. "You know. You can go to sleep if you're tired."
"And risk a pervert like you watch me sleep again? I don't think so." Here she goes calling me a pervert again. I couldn't help but laugh a little.
"Suit yourself." Just as I said that Jaehyo's head landed on my shoulder. "I thought you wouldn't fall asleep next to a pervert like me." I whispered. She fell asleep faster than I expected. Again, I couldn't help but gaze at her beautiful and peaceful face as she slept. I had to keep back the urge to kiss her at that moment.
I leaned my head against the seat and looked out the window.
~Jaehyo's P.O.V.~
"Hey, sleepy head. It's time to wake up." I heard a gentle voice. I jumped in surprise, lifting my head from Joshua's shoulder.
"Don't tell me I fell asleep again." I sighed.
"Okay, I won't. You were perfectly awake with closed eyes."
I gave him a glare.
"That's our stop. Let's go." He said as he took my wrist. Are we going to the cinema?
My guess was right. Joshua was indeed dragging me to the cinema. "So which movie would you like to watch?" He asked.
"Well, I guess." I paused as I looked through the movies that were going to play. One caught my eye. 'Five seconds with you.' from what I've seen in the trailers it was a romance movie. "I know, it way sound a little weird, but are you okay with romance movies?"
"What, what to watch five seconds with you? Yeah, I actually like to watch romance movies from time to time."
"How, did you know?" Seriously, I didn't mention the name of the movie.
"That is the only romance movie playing within the next two hours." He explained.
"Now that you mention it." I looked at the screen again.
"Since we still have half an hour left before the movie, do you want to go to the arcade. I think they have the dancing game there." Joshua offered as we walked to the arcade.
They in deed had the game. "Wait, I just had an idea. Should we also add a penalty to it? The looser has to be the winner's slave for the whole day tomorrow." I dared.
"You sure? You don't know what you're getting yourself into."
"Worry about yourself. I was actually almost a master at the dance game when I was younger." I gave him a smirk.
"Key phrase: WAS actually ALMOST a master." Trying to play a smart-ass. Now you're seriously going to loose.
If I win, I can ask him to give me some space tomorrow for the whole day so I could focus on my studies and ask him for snacks and refreshments. That will sure be a nice and peaceful day. We stood on the platforms ready for the steps and music to start. "Fighting Jaehyo! I will win this!" I added myself some courage as the game started.
"W-what just happened. How could I have lost." I dropped to my knees. My plans all burn to ashes. Now instead of a dream, tomorrow's going to be a nightmare from hell. What have I gotten myself into.
"Let's go. We still have the movie to watch." He said as if nothing ever happened.
