How did Joshua know I was in the storage room. How was he able to find me. The nurse told me that a friend found me unconscious and brought me here. That I should be grateful because if he was even a moment late things could have looked entirely different and I might not have been so lucky then. However that isn't what is bothering me the most. No matter how many times I ask or say I'm fine, I had to stay, the nurse wouldn't let me go to class. Just because of Sowoo's gang and this stupid injury I've missed the whole day of school.
Joshua visited me on every brake when I asked him to bring me notes from class but he would say that the teacher didn't speak English. That guy seriously needs to start learning Korean. I mean even after being here for over a week he should know basic words. This guy is seriously annoying.
Suddenly, he came in again as the final bell rang. "Hi, sleepy head. It's time to go home."
"Have you asked the biology teacher for notes at least? She is fluent in English."
"I sort of gotten tired of asking. Non of the teachers understood me so with biology I just didn't bother."
"You need to start learning Korean. I'm getting tired of translating for you. You're not a little kid that I have to babysit!"
"I'm perfectly aware of that fact, princess. However, right now I'm the one babysitting you." He gave me a wide smirk.
"Aish. Shut up already! You're annoying." I said as I got out of the bed and stood up. However when I did that I felt a little dizzy. Oh no. I'm going to fall.
I closed my eyes ready for the impact. However in stead of hitting the floor I felt arms on my shoulders. "Careful." Did Joshua catch me? I think I'd prefer to hit the floor in stead.
I stood up right "You can let go of me now. You didn't have to catch me in the first place." I said in a bit of a grumpy voice.
"You're welcome. Are you sure you're alright though?" Concern was clear on his face.
I just nodded and shuck his hands off of my shoulders. Then started walking out of the nurse's office.
Why is he following me? What does he want? I tried to ignore it and kept on walking, but it was almost impossible. That playboy pervert. Why won't he leave me alone? I made another couple of steps before turning round to face him. "What do you want and why are you following me? It's starting to get seriously creepy."
"Jaehyo, relax. I'm just here to make sure you get home alright without fainting or anything bad happening."
"Well, as you can see I'm perfectly fine and you're just being a creep. I can walk by myself. That stupid jerk" The last part I mumbled to myself. Joshua's face darkened. He was furious, almost scary.
"You know what. I give up! I've had enough of your attitude and you calling me a creep and a jerk. You can do what ever you want. I admit defeat!"
And just like that I was alone. I mean, I finally got what I wanted but then again why do I feel like crying.
As I got back home I went straight to my room. Luckily, mom wasn't home yet. She'd only ask what happened to my head, this would make my day even better.
I don't get it. I won the bet. The playboy pervert would finally leave me alone. In all honest one thing that is bothering me the most is why am I so upset, shouldn't I be happy. What is going on with me.
As my mind was racing I didn't even realize that tears started to flow. "W-why am I crying?" I asked myself as I touched one of my wet cheeks.
When I woke up I was still in my uniform. I must have fallen asleep without even changing. I went to the bathroom. As I looked in the mirror my face was a mess. Red, puffy, tired eyes.
I washed my face with some cold water then took a shower. I then went to the kitchen, wondering whether I should eat a breakfast or not, since I didn't have any appetite. "Once I get hungry I might buy myself something to eat then." I mumbled to myself. Then took my bag and headed off to school.
Well, my life will finally come back to normal, just how I liked it.
I sat at my desk and took my textbook out. I hope I'll be able to catch up with yesterday's work.
The class has started. I took careful notes and was finally able to fully concentrate. I felt like something inside of me was broken, like I was missing something.
Joshua was now sat in between Sowoo and one of her friends. I couldn't help but glance at him every now and then. Every time I did so I felt tears building up. I would quickly blink them away.
"Min Jaehyo-ah." I looked up slowly. The maths teacher was standing next to me.
"Yes Ms?" I asked unsure of why she was next to me. Am I in trouble?
"Why aren't you paying attention. I was calling you up to the board three times already. Next time please pay closer attention. It's very unlike you."
"I'm sorry. That will not happen again."
"I certainly hope so. Now answer the problem on the board."
I just nodded and walked to the board. Why can't I focus? What is wrong with me? As I looked at the equation somehow it took me a while to think. I ended up writing an answer.
"Wrong. What is wrong with you Min Jaehyo. We'll have to have a talk after the lesson." She gave me a disappointed look as the whole class started to laugh and whisper.
I just nodded and walked up to my seat with my head down in shame. This is the first time I got in trouble with a teacher. "What is wrong with me?" I whispered to myself so that no one would hear.
