Bowing his head, he whispered. "She is coming."
A satisfied smile graced Anna's lips as she turned to the man beside her. "Well done." As she gazed at the man her smile fell. "I want her to suffer, Markus."
Bowing, Markus placed his hand across his chest. "Your wish is my command, my Queen."
Turning her attention to the kingdom, her smile returned. Her eyes danced over the view in front of her, as her smile grew. "I want all of my people to see her fall. I want them to know that I am the only one with the power to keep the red moon around, and only I can take it away."
"You are the strongest Queen they have, one that will see even Toban falling to his knees."
A small chuckle escaped her lips. Turning away from the balcony, Anna made her way down towards the holding cells. "Toban was too blind to see what I had planned. Besides, he is old now and all he wants is his precious daughter."
Falling into step by Anna's side, Markus nodded. "Are you going to let her go to him?"
A laugh fell from Anna's lips, the sounds reverberating off the stone walls. To any slave it would send chills down their spine, but to Markus it was almost like it was calling for him, pulling him closer to her side. "Do you wish for me to send word of her whereabouts?"
Anna scoffed. "To that old fool? No. I want her head sent to him, maybe then he will bow down to me."
At the end of the long hall, two guards stood watch. As Anna and Markus approached, the guards stomped their feet onto the ground, their spears moving away from the doors entrance. Opening the door for Anna, Markus lowered his head in respect before following her into the room.
Stepping into the middle of the room, she gazed at the large table. Along the walls were markings, as a women sat chained to a chair at the far side of the wall. Walking closer to the women, Anna nodded her head at guard.
Bowing his head, he grasped the women's hair, pulling her head up. Across her face sat dark bruises, her lip split. Dried blood stained her clothes, and as she opened her eyes to glare at the person in front of her she spat on the ground.
"Release me at once."
"I can't do that can i?" Anna smiled.
Moving her gaze to Markus, the women's eyes saddened. "How could you do this Markus? Why are you hurting the people you grew up with for a wench like her?" She whispered.
Markus glared at the women in front of her. "You all deserve to die... besides, your daughter killed me so I need to return the favour."
Turning to Markus with a scowl, Anna clenched her jaw. "Find her, and Kill her." The women screamed in protest, the chains rattling as she thrashed in her chair.
A Smirk graced Markus' lips. "With pleasure, my love."

"And here I was thinking it couldn't get colder." I hissed through gritted teeth. We had made it about a mile away from the Cave of Noelle, and as we pushed deeper into the forest the weather started to worsen. A small chuckle from my side had me snapping my head towards Luca. He looked completely fine with the cold, even giving up his own fur coat for me.
"It's not that bad, Abagail." He laughed.
Glaring at him I shook my head. "Maybe there is something wrong with you then."
"Or maybe your just weak." He mumbled.
Stopping, I frowned at him. Gripping my bow in my hands tighter, I felt them start to shake. As I continued to glare at Luca, a sudden sharp pain in my head had me dropping to my knees. Griping my head, I bit back the need to scream.
If I screamed I would give away our location. The last thing I need was William and the elves finding where we were. Squinting my eyes closed as tightly as I could, I prayed the pain would go away but it only got worse before images started to flash in my mind.
I could see Anna standing on a balcony at the Kingdom, behind her Markus. No this wasn't Markus this was a Rogue. He was no longer the Markus I know. As if he could sense me there, his head turned towards me slightly before a smirk graced his lips.
He could see me. It was happening again. Clenching my fists into tight balls, I resisted the urge to lunge at him. Before I could say anything, my vision changed again but this time I was in a room with markings. A large stone table stood in the middle. A few guards stood by the walls as if something was about to happen.
A sob to my left had me spinning around. What I had seen before my vision blurred again shocked me. The one person I thought I had lost forever was there and badly beaten. The pain increased once again, causing me to close my eyes as I let out a small whimper.
Once I opened my eyes again, I was met with bright blue eyes that seemed to almost glow. Breathing heavy Luca hauled me into his arms. "We need to get you to shelter." He mumbled.
Walking away from the area we were heading, I watched the trees pass by. I was still in shock. I couldn't move or think. My mind was only on the person I had seen so badly beaten that I nearly didn't recognise them.
Taking shelter under a cut out on the rocky wall, Luca placed me down before reaching his hands towards my fur coat. Grasping a hold of his wrists I glared at him. "What do you think you're doing?" I hissed.
Shaking his head he tried to move his hands once more, but was stopped again. Releasing an exasperated sigh, he glared down at me. "I need to see your mark, Abagail."
"And why is that?"
Looking away he sighed before his blue eyes met mine once again. "If I don't carve the blocking symbol into your skin right now, they are going to know where we are. Do you really want a bunch of rogues on us within minutes?"
I couldn't reply, I was too shocked. I still didn't understand as to how or why they could connect with me. As if reading my mind, his hands clasped my shoulder. "You're the Great Book, Abagail. Nearly everyone will be able to find you unless I put the symbol on your body."
Frowning, I licked my bottom lip. "Can't you place the symbol on my wrist?"
With a shake of his head, I watched as he pulled a small dagger from his thigh. I hadn't even noticed he had strapped daggers to his body. Watching the blade move closer towards me, I froze.
"The only way this will work, is if it's on your mark."
Looking into his eyes, I shook my head in protest. "If I do that I won't be able to see Aurora or speak to her."
"She can reverse the affect once we find her. Don't you trust me?"
Frowning, i replied. "Considering we found you traveling with a bunch of barbarians it's hard to answer that."
Smirking, he moved the blade closer. "You seemed to have trusted me back at the cave."
That had me shutting my mouth. He was right. I had trusted him back there. Closing my eyes I griped the fur coat around my body. "Just make it quick."
"I'll try my best."
Turning around, I pulled the clothing from my shoulder exposing my mark. It had been awhile since I had been able to see it. Closing my eyes I took a deep breath. "Do it."
I felt as the blades tip pierced through my skin. Bitting my bottom lip I whimpered in pain, only to hear soothing words from Luca. "I'm sorry. It will be over soon."
Just as he had finished the symbol, I felt a big pressure in my head before everything went black.
You can run but you can't hide from me, Abagail.
