"Here, i was told to give you a proper set of clothing." Lay said as he pointed to the clothes on the table next to the bed. "Okay, thank you." I nodded. He walked to the door. "If you need me I'll be in the next room to the right!" And with that he left. I grabbed the clothing and examined it. It was a long sleeved light brown dress that came with a pair of brown shorts and long light brown thigh high socks that was to be paired with brown knee high combat boots. It was kind of cute. For brown.
I walked over to the real bathroom i was granted. It was nice. After i finished freshening up i walked over to the room Lay told me he was in and walked in. He was laying on his bed reading some book. He heard me walk in and turned his head my way. "You look kinda cute in that. It looks much comfier than the stuff you were dressed in before."
I nodded furiously. "It's a lot softer and a lot more flexible. Like look I could do a squat in this and not feel awkward." He laughed at my excitement. "How do you like it here?" He asked, still lying down. I walked over to the bed and stood next to him. I touched his hair and he seemed to relax. "It's nice. Cozy. It feels like a home. And well i just woke up so, there's not much i can say right now." He nodded and leaned into my hand that was playing with his hair.
"I think you'll like it here. I'm positive you'll fit in. Everyone here has their own quirks and they're all really friendly" he nodded. I pushed my hair behind my ears. "I hope so." I ruffled his hair for the last time before letting my hands leave his scalp.
"So, what's the schedule?" I asked now plopping down on the bed next to him. He shuffled and closed his book. "Ah, well, i already told everyone you're here. And General Leia Organa wants to meet you. And after that we'll see where it takes us."
I nodded and put a piece of hair behind my ear. "Do you want to eat? You're probably starving." He said sitting up and fixing his short brown hair. I laughed. "No, it's alright. I mean, are you?" He gave me a questioning look. "No i ate while you were dead asleep." I nodded. "I mean i don't really need to eat, my kind doesn't really need to eat to survive. We just get thirsty from time to time." He looked intrigued.
"I mean we can eat it's not like we can't, but it's not really required. Food just kind of tastes good." It probably sounded weird explaining it but i really had no clue how to. "Alrighty then. Do you want to go eat something for the hell of it?" I shook my head. "I'm kind of nervous. We can later though." He nodded his head in agreement.
"Let's go then." I said standing. I walked to the door with my tail swaying happily behind me. I felt Lay flick the tip of my tail and i hissed. "Don't damage the jewels" i said while sticking my tongue out. He laughed. "Alright, alright. Come on, this way madam."

He was about to push the button that opened the door when i stopped him. "Wait! I mean.. what if she doesn't like me and makes me leave and i have to go back? Like what if she thinks I'm bad?" My ears fell and i honestly was kind of worried. I felt like, if i had no planet to go to, where do i go if she doesn't see good in me?
Lay grabbed me and pulled me into a hug and rubbed my back. "Its okay. She has no reason to not like you. If anything happens I'll be right here." He said reassuringly. I nodded my head and grabbed his hand. He looked down at it and then up at me while i sheepishly grinned.
He pressed the button and we walked into the room that Leia was sat in. There were a bunch of other people too, but i really have only heard of her. "Ah, Lay! You're back! And with the feli-10!" She then turned to me and smiled lightly. "I'm General Organa, but you can call me Leia. I've seriously heard a lot about you." I nodded and shook her now outstretched hand.
She motioned for me to sit so i did, along with Lay. She looked at Lay questioningly. "You can go if you'd like." She said to him. He smiled and shook his head. "I'm here for- uh moral support." I laughed a little and he smiled at me. She nodded and let out a chuckle too. "Alright so, start at the beginning. I only got a brief skim."
I inhaled sharply. It's been so long.
