I open my eyes and smile. I don't remember falling asleep but I remember what I dreamt last night. I dreamt I was a princess spinning around in my beautiful ball gown. I had a sparkling tiara on my head and all my subjects changed how beautiful I was. So I guess I'm a little vain after all. I lay in bed staring at the ceiling blissfully. After a minute a knock comes on my door. I hustle out of bed calling. "One minute!" I pull on my pink robe wrapping the belt with rose designs around my waist. My hair should be massy after sleeping but as usual it isn't.

I open the door to find Christine glaring at me. "Have you seen father?" She snaps. "No is everything okay?" I Ask tucking a fallen strand of hair behind my ear. "No!" She snaps again. "Do you think I'd be asking you if it was?" I push away the hurt. "No." I whisper. "Ugh." She scoffs. "Why am I asking you anyway? You probably kidnapped him yourself!" She stomps off. My head snaps up and I run after her. My feet barely touch the ground. "Kidnapped?" She wirls around her eyes on fire. Her blonde hair whips around her face in curls. She smirks at me. "As if your really as clueless as you play." She crosses her arms over her chest.

"Christine, he was kidnapped?" She rolls her eyes and turns around to walk away. I catch her by her wrist. She pulls away easily. "Christine." I plead. "What?" She wirls around again catching me off guard. I run into her. She stumbles back and catches herself on the dining table behind her. She sneers. "Creep." She mutters then turns and disappears into her room. I purse my lips angrily. "Okay." I whisper to myself. I turn and head back into my room. On my phone I dial 911 and wait for someone to pick up. The police station picks up almost I'mmediatly.

"911 What's your emergency?" A low voice asks. "Hello, my name is Belle. My sister says my father Brandon Watershas been kidnapped, but she won't say anything else." A pause echos over the phone line. "I see, I have him on my data base it may just be hpeasier for you to come on over to your nearest police station though. Does that work for you?" I tell him he's and hang up. Without even bothering to change out of my bathrobe I jump in my car as fast as I can. I don't have as much practice behind the wheel as I'd like but I make my way to the police station.

At the front desk a friendly woman asks what I'm here for. "My father, Brandon Waters. I've heard he's been kidnapped." She nods thoughtfully. "I'll call someone up who can help you." I thank her and sit down in the waiting room. It's pretty empty at this hour. There's a boy in the corner and his mother and a man reading a magazine but otherwise I'm alone. Why does that hit a nerve? A man walks up to me. "You are, Bell right? Brandon's daughter?" I nod vigorously "follow me please." I stand up shakily and follow him into a room empty exept for the three chairs. I sit in one and he sits in the other.

I sit on the edge as if I am a graceful bird, ready to take flight at any needed moment. He leans back into his chair and looks at me through his sunglasses. I've always hated sunglasses, they block the emotion and gaze of a person from the view of another. Thankfully he takes his off and looks at me intently with his intexpnse grey eyes. "I'm agent Castellen, now why don't you tell me what you know about your fathers kidnapping?"
