I wake to the feeling of silk. All over my body brushing lightly against my skin. I stretch and yawn. After sitting up and rubbing my eyes I realize I am in a bed. It's the softest bed I've ever felt and the blanket is thick and warm. Where am I? Then yesterdays events come rushing back to me. No. No no no no. I look around frantically. This definitely isn't my room. A dresser to the right of the bed is pink and beautifully designed. A gorgeous circular pink rug on the ground keeps my feet from touching the floor as I slide off. There seems to be a pink theme in here. A small bookshelf catches my eye in the corner but there aren't any books. Disipointing. I pull the closet doors open. I pull my hands back In awe.magnificent dresses just like mine back home hang side by side arranged by color in a rainbow. Some are fancier than mine but most look like the ones I'm used to. Behind them a shoe rack holds various heels and boots and shoes of all kinds. I stumble back and catch my reflection in the mirror. Golden hair slightly messy, chocolate eyes wide, Mouth agape and cheeks flushed.
After a calming moment I walk up again and delicately touch a navy blue dress as if it may crumble at any given moment. I pull it out. The dress is soft to the touch and white on the top with flower decorations. Fake gems surround the waist line and the bottom is layered. I hold it to my chest. I also grab a pair of blue flats almost the same color and slip them onto my feet. In the dresser I find black leggings which I pull on as well and I pull off my nightgown replacing it with the delicate dress. I find a golden brush in a desk near my bed. A window looms over it and the sunlight glints off the brush as I pull it out. I run the brush through my hair feeling sadly at home by doing so. As soon as I take the brush out of my hair for the last time pink mist explodes everywhere. I sputter and stumble. Suddenly my hair feels heavier but the pressure goes away as soon as the mist begins to disipear.
I wave the last of it away but catch a glimpse of my hair in doing so. I rush to the mirror and peek at it. My hair is done it curls swishing around my shoulders. The sudden magic is to much. I have to get out of here. I clamber on top of the desk and stand carefully balancing on my feet. I shove the window open and push away from my body. The glass leans out and I stick my head out to see. I am probably three stories up, a fall like that could break my legs, or worse. Still I need to escape. I slip out the window and balance on the window sill. Wind whispers in my ear to stop. I look frantically but don't find the source of the sound. It's now or never. I need to escape. I jump.
