Mira's Pov...
"No Mommy I don't wanna go!" I cried clutching her skirt.
"I'm sorry love but you must." She said hugging me.
There was a Jedi at our house he said I was strong with the force and he needed to take me away to the Jedi temple to become a Jedi even though I was almost ten.
"Well if you don't mind Ma'am I really need to get going." He stated crossing his arms.
"Yes of course, Sir. I'll get her things just give us two minutes." She said.
My mother gathered all my things then said goodbye and told me a million times how much she loved me. Then I said goodbye to my father who I could tell was trying not to cry.
"Goodbye my little Mira." He said choking on words.
I then took the Jedi's hand and he walked me up the ramp of the ship to take me to my new home.
I sat down across from him terrified of what the future may hold.
"Hello, little one, I am Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn." He said smiling down at me.
"Are there any other Jedi my age at the temple?" I asked in a tiny voice.
"Well as a matter a fact there is a boy by the name of Obiwan Kenobi. He's 12 just about two years older than you." He answered thoughtfully.
"You're fond of him aren't you." I said.
"Yes he is my Padawan." He said half smiling."The Jedi council sent me to fetch you they said you will be skipping Youngling stage and become a Padawan Learner almost right away."
"Really?!" I exclaimed happily.
Just then the pilot came in "We have landed, Master Jedi." He said.
The ramp was lowered and we walked off and headed into the Jedi temple.
After I met some of the other Jedi which I was equally terrified of, Master Qui Gon Jinn took me into a room where boy was sitting on a bench.
"Mira, this is Obiwan Kenobi" He said gesturing for Obiwan to come over. "Obiwan, this is Mira Navarro."
"Hi" I said shyly.
"Hello, so you're the new Jedi youngling." Obiwan said observing me.
"I am not a youngling I'm a Padawan Learner or soon to be one!" I said angrily.
"Ok ok I'm sorry,Mira." Obiwan said.
"Well if you two love birds are finished then why don't you ,Obiwan, take Mira for a tour and show her where her quarters are?" Qui Gon suggested raising an eyebrow.
"Yes of course, Master." Obiwan said taking my bag and gesturing for me to follow him.
We then raced to through the temple. It was hard to keep up with Obiwan I knew that if I lost him I would be lost. Finally we entered a corridor with many rooms Obiwan stood in front of one and used the force to open the door.
"This is your room." He said "You will have all you need. Sorry it's a bit dull but..."
He was interrupted when I ran and and yelled at the top of my lungs. "It's perfect."
"Never seen anyone do that before." He mumbled putting her bag down and hoping the ringing in his ears would stop.
"Can I have a tour of the temple now?" I asked him my eyes beaming with energy.
"Sure. I guess?" He said.
That's when I received the experience of my life my wish come true. I was finally gonna see what the temple looks like.
