(i) for those of you who are just opening up this writing guide for the first time - hello im so excited you're here!
if you didn't catch it from the description, this book is basically a help book for writing in general, and specifically about the 100. ie, there are some chapter about just plain old writing, and some specific to the tv show. there's a bunch different categories like writing tips, face-claim ideas, book recommendations, etc etc.
i will make a disclaimer that i am no expert. aside from taking a few writing courses here and there and growing up reading and writing i have no actual credentials. and i do make mistakes.
the only rules i have are these:
1. please do not advertise your own book all over this one. it's just rude and won't help you. i do have a chapter in this book called "sell your story" specifically meant for readers and writers to discover and advertise books. feel free to do that there but nowhere else.
2. you don't have to read my other book(s). but keep in mind that it takes me a lot of time to come up with all of these tips etc so it's really appreciated when you guys support my other stuff too!
3. if you have any questions, feel free to message me. i'm not always on WP and i may not get to your message right away but i will try to as soon as possible.

(ii) for the many of you who have been faithful readers of this book, and are like, "um tay why are you writing another intro for this book?"....let me explain:
i created this tip book when i literally had no idea what in the world i was doing on WP. so the content (ie the tips, info, etc) are still good, but the layout is kinda cringy, especially in the first ones i wrote. i eventually got a bit better, but still, if i wrote it now it would definitely look different.
the problem is, there are so many chapters and to re-layout all them would take so much time that i could use doing so many more productive things. also, for everyone who has this book in their library that would be a lot of super annoying notifications and i'm not about that life.
also, as 'unaesthetically pleasing' as this book is, it opened so many doors for me on WP because of all the reads it got and the support you guys gave me. so in a way i don't wanna change it just because that's just kinda how it is.
pretty much this intro is just a disclaimer to say yes, i know the layout of this book is kinda messy and not the prettiest. my new books are 100x better (in my opinion), i promise.
