The True Plan

All you remember is the pain and screaming. The way they took your magic wasn't the easiest way, just the fastest. You and Natsu kept on trying to take the attention away from Wendy so they wouldn't hurt her. You knew it would only work for so long. Natsu was the first to go as his magic was nearly gone. You were next but you could still hear when Wendy first screamed. You woke up a little while after.

You: "Wendy..." You shoot up as you go over to her. She was alive but knocked out cold. You then heard footsteps coming toward you but smiled as you got their scent. Gray, Lucy, and Carla run into the room.

Gray: "(Y/N)!" You nod at him as you stand up. Your hand was holding your side.

You: "Their magic is low. They aren't dead." Gray nodded as he pulled out the pills and fed them. Natsu got up and ran out the door.

Gray: "What is he doing." You opened your mouth to explain but Wendy began to cough. You helped her sit up.

Wendy: "Our friends are in trouble." She coughed out as you explained the king's plan to bomb the exceeds with the lacrima your friends were in. Natsu ran back into the room yelling something about two Erza's fighting. You ran through the halls trying to stop the king. You turned around to find Wendy had stopped.

You: "Is something wrong?" Wendy shook her head.

Wendy: "No, we are going to warn the exceeds." Carla seemed to be more hesitant to do so.

You: "Then I'll go with you." Carla shook her head.

Carla: "I can only carry one person." You gave a slight grunt.

You: "Who said you were going to carry me? Follow me." You ran outside with both of them and whistled.

Wendy: "What are you doing?"

You: "Truth is. I've been here once before." Wendy looked at you with wide eyes. "It was the day Seishin left. I woke up in Edolas. I somehow went through the Anima. I later found out it was the same one that brought Mystogan. I was here for a few years until I found a way to open the Anima just enough to slip through. I met Mystogan who closed it and we joined Fairy Tail."

Wendy: "So that's how you know him." You nod and look into the sky.

You: "I made a friend when I was here." A giant wyvern looking creature landed in front of you. "Hey bud. Been a while." You hop on and look at Wendy. "Wanna ride or is Carla good."

Carla: "I could use a little break." She admitted. You offer a hand to Wendy as they both get on.

You: "Lets get going." You took off into the sky. Wendy grabbed onto you, the sudden burst of speed catching her off guard. You all land on a building and jump down. Wendy and Carla were yelling at everyone to get away. You however stood looking at all of them. They weren't listening. One of them gave an insult and tossed a rock toward Wendy, you quickly catch it.

Wendy: "(Y/N)..." You glare at the exceeds.

You: "It seems they won't react to words." They began to throw more rocks at you. You crushed the rock in your hand. "Spectral Drago-" you began but Wendy hugged you from behind.

Wendy: "Don't hurt them!" You stop yourself and sigh.

You: "Alright. You win." You turn and hug Wendy back. Protecting her from the rocks as she protected Carla. You then heard the lacrima.

Wendy: "We were too late."
