The Holy Spectral Dragon

You stood with the rest of Fairy Tail B Team and watched as the next event was set up.

Gajeel: "I still think we should put Juvia in for this one." He said as he watched them carry in water. "Put Juvia in water and that's all she wrote."

Mira: "We already agreed to let (Y/N) take care of this one. We just need to trust him." She says as they make the water turn into a spherical shape and add some more magic to it. Apparently you can breathe in the water which was good.

You: "You shouldn't worry about me. Worry about everyone else. That water sphere only has room for one dragon and nothing else." You say as you get prepared to go inside. You walk toward the exit when you see Gajeel hold out his fist.

Gajeel: "You better win." He says but the tone of his voice almost sounded encouraging. You bump your fist against his. You walk out and place your hand on your stomach. Your magic was bubbling like crazy, ready to get out.

Announcer: "Alright folks! Today's game is called 'Naval Battle'. That's right folks today's match takes place in a giant sphere of water. If you're pushed out, you're out. When two people are remaining a special rule applies. A 5 minute count down begins where whoever is pushed out in that time gets last place."

You watch as your competition jumps into the water and gets announced. They were all girls so far. Great. But as you watched the next competitor was who you were waiting for. Minerva had just entered the water. You quickly jump in and get announced as the only boy competing. This caused a guy from Quatro Puppy to get upset.

Lucy: "I'll be the one to start this off!" She stated as she summoned Aquarius. Who then began demolishing most of the competition but no one was out yet. You swam around, avoiding Aquarius's attacks. You then heard a blar and heard that Quatro Puppy was out already.

Jenny: "No boys allowed!" She yelled and tried the kick you out. However you quickly caught her legs and punched her in the gut. As her eyes widened in pain and surprise you spun and threw her out before she could react.

You: "I could hear you from a mile away." You taunt and swiftly dodge another attack, this one from Sherria. "You're Wendy's friend right?" You ask as you dodge another attack.

Sherria: "Yes, what about it?" She asks getting frustrated as you continued to dodge her attacks.

You: "I'll make this quick then." Before she could react she found herself outside the sphere of water after you had kicked her. "Mind your surroundings." You say. She had gotten way too close to the edge when she was throwing her punches.

Lucy: "Don't leave me!" You hear Lucy yell as Aquarius leaves. Causing her to summon other spirits to help her. The spirits manage to get the girl from Mermaid Heel out before Lucy unsummoned them, only you, Minerva, and Lucy remain.

You: "Sorry, Lucy. I'm going to have to ask you to step out." She looks at you in shock but sees the look of seriousness in your eyes. "There might be a chance of getting knocked out before the five minutes are up. I'm letting you have to points for third place, that's better than last."

Lucy: "Alright. I'm running low on magic anyway. You better win this." All you give is a nod in response. Lucy then swims out.

Announcer: "It seems that Lucy has decided to swim out and take third place! Seems like the only two left are (Y/N) and Minerva! The five minutes start now!"

In an instant, you see a bright white flash come from in front of you. It exploded and sent you flying back but you quickly stop yourself.

You: "What was that? The heat was intense. Almost like I got burned." You thought as you see another flash. This time you manage to block and not get knocked back. "But they seem predictable."

However, as the fight progressed you found a different problem. You couldn't seem to be able to get close to Minerva. No matter how fast you swam to reach her, you always seemed to teleport near the edge of the sphere with an explosion waiting for you. You always managed to block it but you started to feel the strain. One minute remained on the timer.

Minerva: "You're lucky to survive this long. But now I'll end it." In seconds, you were surrounded on all sides by her magic. You couldn't even block as explosions bombarded you. You felt your body go limp and numb. One more explosion sent you flying back and to the end of the sphere.

You: "I couldn't even use my trump card. I'm pathetic." You thought as you let yourself continue your course to the edge of the sphere.

Wendy: "(Y/N)! Don't give up! You promised you wouldn't worry me!" Your body reacted on its own. You stopped on the edge of the water. Your eyes focused on where you heard her voice. She stood their with tears falling from her eyes.

You: "Wendy..." You felt your hands clench into fists. You made Wendy cry. You never wanted to do it again, you vowed that day that you would make sure she'd never cry because of you. You felt you magic reach the breaking point because of your emotions.

You: "Holy Spectral Dragon Mode." You say as a burst of magic sends a surprised Minerva back. Everyone watched in shock as white and purple magic seemed to float around you.

Minerva: "I see so that's what happened to Sting's magic that day." She spoke and then opens her mouth to speak again only to feel immense pain in her gut. She looks down to see you with your fist punching her. She goes flying back and almost out of the sphere before she stopped herself.

You: "I won't ever give up! And as Natsu would say, I'm all fired up!" You punch your palm as another bust of magic comes out. Minerva then quickly sends more rapid explosions toward you.

Minerva: "You may have gotten stronger but don't think for an instant that you've won." However as the bubbles cleared, you stood their not showing any signs that the attack had hurt you.

You: "The same trick ain't going to work twice." You say as you rush at her. Everyone watched as your magic seemed to gather around your hands and feet. They seemed to make shields or platforms that you used to block and get to Minerva. You used these platforms to quickly switch directions in the water and get behind Minerva before she could notice.

You had the upper hand, however you knew this form was only temporary, you had to finish this quickly. You grabbed Minerva by the face and chucked her above you. You then started to suck in all the magic energy surrounding you.

You: "Holy Spectral Dragon!" You yell just as Minerva managed to stop herself, but she was too late. "Roar!" You yell as a massive white and purple breath attack is let out. Everyone stares in shock at the beam aiming towards the heavens. As everthing clears, you just stand in the water panting, the entire upper half of the sphere is gone. The crowd watches as Minerva falls to the ground. You then let out a roar-like shout claiming your victory.

Saber Tooth: "Lady Minerva!" They all yell as they quickly check on her. You get out of the water.

Announcer: "Incredible! (Y/N) has won this match with a devastating attack!" You hear as everyone begins to cheer. You watch as Sting glares at you.

You: "Why are you *pant* worrying about her? *pant* She's just going to be kicked out. One loss *pant* and you're out right? Or are you going to make an *pant* exception?" You ask with a smirk causing almost everyone on Saber Tooth to step forward in aggression. However Multiple members from both Fairy Tail A and B step in front of you.

Erza: "I wouldn't be so hasty." She says as both Wendy and Mira check on you. Wendy healing you in badly damaged areas and Mira mostly praising you while checking for more injuries. You look at Wendy as she heals you, you see her rub her eyes with her shoulder.

You: "I'm sorry *pant* for making you cry." You say as you lean your head against her's. Suddenly, she has her arms wrapped around you. And buries her head into your neck

Wendy: "Thank you for not giving up." She says.

You: "I should be thanking you. You were the reason I was able to keep going." You state causing her to smile. She helps you get up and walks you to the infirmary as everyone starts to congratulate you on your victory.
