Christmas Special

You put on the scarf that you won during the Flower Viewing Party. You look outside to see powder snow covering most of the ground. You grab some wrapped gifts off your table and head toward the guild. There was a gift exchange going on but you also wanted to give Wendy her gift. You then see someone you recognize carrying quite a lot of gifts.

You: "Lucy! Need some help with those?" You ask as you run up. It was strange to you because you only had to get two guild members for the gift exchange.

Lucy: "(Y/N)!" She yelps in surprise. "Some help would be nice." She says and quickly hands you some gifts.

You: "Why so many?" You ask as you both begin to walk toward the guild together.

Lucy: "It's kind of my first Christmas with Fairy Tail so I went a little overboard with gift buying." She explains. "But I also bought a gift for everyone in the team to thank them for all their help."

You: "I guess that makes sense." You say off handedly as you see the guild come into view. "Now let's hurry. You must be freezing." You say. She looks at you and sees that you are wearing your usual attire. Except with a scarf on.

Lucy: "Look who's talking." She says with a sweatdrop.

Mira: "Welcome!" You hear Mira shout as you enter.

You set the gifts down with the rest. No tree this year. Natsu decided to burn the last one. You smile slightly at the memory.

Lucy: "Thanks again (Y/N)." She says as she walks off to talk to some guild members. You looked around and you notice a lack of white cats and blue haired Dragon Slayers. You lightly scratch your head before heading toward the bar.

You: "Hey Mira." You greet as you sit down.

Mira: "Merry Christmas (Y/N)." She says as she hands you some hot chocolate (A/N: Or some other hot drink you enjoy.)

You: "Thanks." You say as you take a sip of the drink. You take another look around the guild.

Mira: "Looking for Wendy?" She asked but you could also tell she meant it as a statement. You only nod. "I'm sure she'll show up soon."

You: "Hope so. It is our first Christmas together." You say. You then jump slightly when you hear Mira squeal.

Mira: "I never thought you to be someone to care about things like that!" She says causing you to sigh and roll your eyes. This would be a long day.

It started to get late. You were getting increasingly worried because Wendy had yet to show up. The only thing stopping you from searching for her was the fact that Carla arrived saying that Wendy had only forgot to buy some gifts and was shopping. She also said the you couldn't help her because she was buying a gift for you as well.

Mira: "Alright everyone! We will begin the gift exchange!" She yells to everyone. Many cheered at this and went to pick up their gifts. There was only a mild confusion because of people using the same wrapping paper but it was quickly resolved.

As the gifts began to disappear you heard running coming from outside. The guild doors flew open and you saw your girlfriend come running in. Her hair was slightly messy from running and she was covered in snow. But she was still as cute as ever.

Wendy: "Sorry I'm late!" She yells. However, due to the fact the she was running in the snow with multiple bags the probably destroyed any balance she had. She tripped. She closed her eyes but didn't feel the ground. Instead she felt something warm.

You: "Well this brings back memories." You say as you held her in a hug to keep her from falling. You then notice that the jacket that she is wearing is the one that you gave her.

Wendy: "Thanks (Y/N)." She says as she pulls away. Only to see you pointing at your lips. She blushes slightly but gives you a kiss before you both continue the gift exchange.

It was fun. Everyone laughed as Natsu gave Gray a belt to "keep his pants on." Erza seemed to be happy after getting multiple cakes. Happy tried to give Carla some fish... again. Lucy was most surprised when you and the entire team told her that you payed her rent for the next three months.

You sat at a table and started to put away the gifts that you had received from the others.

Wendy: "(Y/N)?" You hear her call out. You turn around and see her hold out a gift. She has a cute blush on her face and seems to be having trouble making eye contact with you. "Merry Christmas..." She mumbled. You smile as you gently take the gift out of her hands and open it. They were a pair of soft looking gloves.

You: "Gloves?" You question as you put them on.

Wendy: "I know it isn't much but I noticed that you've had your hands in your pockets a lot more recently." She began to explain. "I thought maybe they were cold."

You: "Thanks. That's really sweet of you." You say as you smile at her. You then notice a pink blush on her cheeks.

Wendy: "I also thought that we could hold hands more..." She mumbles under her breath. You smile slightly wider. You go up and hug her before taking out your gift for her.

You: "Here you go. I hope you like it." You say as she begins to open it. She opens it to see a small box. She opens the box and spots two different gifts, a shirt and what looks to be a case. She unfolds the shirt first and reads the text on it.

Wendy: "Property of (Full Name)." She reads with a blush on her face only to here a chuckle from you. She smiles slightly at it before opening the case. In it there is a silver bracelet with a nice design.

You: "I was thinking about getting you a necklace but that is too cliche." You tell her as you rub the back of your neck. She smiles and hugs you.

Wendy: "Its perfect." She tells you before kissing you. "Merry Christmas (Y/N)."

You: "Merry Christmas Wendy."
