[Sydney's outfit]
Sydney had been silent on the car ride to the flower shop and on the way to the Wheeler residence although Steve didn't seem to pay much attention to her mood drop. He was much more focused on his mission at hand which was to win Nancy back and hopefully forgive him for being such an asshole and such a shitty boyfriend.
The blonde glanced to the boy next to her and sighed a bit. "You seem to really love her, don't you?"
He looked to her and nodded with a soft smile. "I love her with all my heart," He whispered although he couldn't help but let his eyes wander to the girl next to him. He had to admit that she was quite a beauty but he barely knew her and he was not giving up on Nancy just yet.
She nodded and sighed, her attention going back to stare at the view of Hawkins out the window. It was a nice and quiet town although she couldn't help but get a strange feeling deep within the pit of her stomach. Sydney closed her eyes when they arrived at the nice house.
She began to tune out the mumbling coming from Steve, practicing what he was going to say, opening her eyes when she heard the back door open and turned around to see one of her stepsister's stalkers.
"Dustin, right?" Sydney asked tilting her head.
"H-how do you know my name?" The curly haired boy stuttered as Steve got in and started the car to drive back to his home.
"Max talks about you," She replied and laughed a bit when his eyes went wide.
She looked ahead when Steve drove off and glanced to him, biting her lip gently. From the small glint in his dark eyes, she had a feeling that it would be hard for him to move him. When she first arrived at the school, she would hear from some of Billy's drunken friends about how King Steve used to rule the school but now he was being overthrown by her brother.
Sydney got out, walking slowly behind the two boys as they headed towards the back to the cellar after the dark haired boy got a nail embedded bat from his trunk, although she could overhear the conversation they were having.
"Are you sure we can trust her?" Dustin whispered looking up at Steve.
"I trust her and so should you," He stated stepping back when the middle schooler opened up the cellar door. He jumped in and walked around, his bat at the ready in case the demogorgon tried to jump out at him. "Shit," He mumbled sighing as he saw a hole.
Sydney furrowed her brows as she walked over with Dustin. "What is it?"
"No, no, no," Dustin exclaimed seeing the deep hole that the monster dug through.
"What are we going to do?" Sydney asked, completely clueless on everything that is going on.
"We go monster hunting," Steve replied resting his bat on his shoulder.
