Matt's POV

I haven't been feeling very well lately, but I'm still going to see the fall of Kirvin and the rise of Mattstie. All I have to do is get everything ready for his death.

After sharpening my lucky knife, I climbed down the stairs to where I was keeping my captive. I dragged him out by his arm and kicked him in his stomach.

He groaned in pain and tried to move away from me, but I sat on his back before he could do anything. I flipped him over on his back and moved the knife very close to his neck. He looked up at me with fear in his eyes, silently begging me to put the knife down.

I almost did, but then I remembered why I was doing this. He was going to pay with his life, whether he liked it or not. Pressing the cold metal onto his throat, I slowly slid it across until his eyes closed, and there was a bloody knife in my hand.

I left the room like nothing happened, but I felt a weight lift off my shoulders.

*a couple years later*

After convincing Kirstin that Kevin was gone for good, since she worked for me, all I had to do was get rid of the body and enjoy my life with my beloved and her children.

She never really loved him. He was just a distraction. I recruited her a few days after they got together, and we've been plotting his death all of this time.

Now... We can finally live in piece.

Esther found a brother of hers that was actually my neighbor and they are spending as much time as they can together.

You can call this a sad ending if you'd like reader, but I call this my happily ever after.
