Kevin's POV
It's Ashlynn and Ishmael's first day of preschool. Ishmael is excited, but Ashlynn would rather stay with her parents. Right now I was trying to get her out of bed.
"Come on Ashlynn, you got to go to school" "But... I wanna stay with you." She was in the verge of tears at this point. I picked her up and carried her to the kitchen, while she cried loudly, wanting to be put back to bed. Kirstin took her from me and calmed her down, saying that school would be fun and she would meet new friends.
The three year olds ate their breakfast and Kirst took them to school. I did some office work as a way to pass the time, and before I knew it, my love came through the front door. We borh had agrred that she would drop the kids off and I would pick them up.
We watched some Netflix to kill more time. At around 2:10, I drove to the school to pick them up. Luckily, they had the same teacher so I wouldn't have to walk around the school too much. I picked them up and buckled them onto their carseats.
" Daddy, Mrs. Louis was very nice to us. She gave us candy, but I saved mine for you.", said Ashlynn.
"Aw, that's so sweet of you baby girl!"
"How was your day Ishmael?"
"It was awsome! We got to color and sing songs, and Mrs. Louis said me and Ash have nice voices!"
"She's not wrong" I said with a little chuckle.
We got home, and the kids told Kirstin all about their day. I got my candy, and Ish gave Kirstin his candy. When they told her about what the teacher had said about their singing, we gave each other a knowing look. Maybe we could look into it more....
