*Sorry it's been forever guys. Seriously. I promise I'll try to update as much as possible. And did you guys see the finale of the Youngblood Chronicles? Oh my goodness.*
Alyssa and I get to the concert venue and I immediately look for Patrick. What we had planned for her, she'd never forget.
We walk past the line of fans that were already out here. There was only an hour left until gates opened, and Alyssa and I were running late. They all look at us as we walk past them, and walk up to the security guards that were in front of the doors.
"Back of the line, guys," he says to us.
"What?!" Alyssa says. "She's Patrick Stump's new girlfriend!" she adds, pointing to me. I look at her. Why say that in front of everyone? I then look behind us. Most of the girl fans stared at me, jaw dropped.
"Yeah, so am I," the security guard says, trying to make a joke. He thought we were lying. I call Patrick's phone, putting it on speaker. This was probably the wrong idea, but too late now. The thing was, he forgot to give us passes for tonight.
"Hello?" he says. A bunch of girls scream and try to move towards Alyssa and I, but more security stops them.
"Patrick, I'm out here standing in front of the gates, can you tell security to let us in?" I ask, laughing.
"Pete didn't give you the passes for tonight?"
"When does Pete ever do anything he's supposed to do?" The line of fans laugh and I just look at them, confused. I then noticed, everyone was listening to my conversation with Patrick.
"True," Patrick says, laughing. "Is the security guard out there?"
"He's right here, he can hear you."
"Hey, security guard sir, this is my girlfriend, let her and her friend in."
"How do I know you're really Patrick Stump?" Alyssa and I sigh, and I close my eyes, annoyed.
"Fine, I'll come out there and get her."
"PATRICK WAIT-"
The phone hangs up. Great. He was going to come out here, and security couldn't stop the flock of girls that were about to attack him. I hope he wasn't coming outside completely, because it'd be safer to just meet me at the door.
Alyssa and I look back and forth at each other and at the security guards. They were mad at us. What did we do? We're not lying, and we needed to get backstage for this concert before the gates opened.
"Hey," Patrick says, walking out of the door. I turn around quickly. He smiles and I hear everyone start to scream. Security tries to hold everyone back, but they were failing.
"GET INSIDE!" Alyssa screams, pushing Patrick and I inside, all of us trying not to trip. I shut the door behind us and lean against the door, hyperventilating.
"Well damn, I thought we were going to see Patrick Stump and the rest of Fall Out Boy but apparently we're going to see Channing Tatum and HIS POSSE!" Alyssa yells, fixing her top. Patrick and I laugh. That was a good one.
"I missed you," I say to him, putting my arms around him. He smiles, putting his arms around me, looking right into my eyes. "I missed you, too," he says, giving me a kiss.
"Get a room," Alyssa says, laughing, walking in front of us.
"She's just jealous, but just wait until after tonight," Patrick whispers to me. I laugh. I really hoped that Joe and Alyssa would hit it off. They really had no choice after this.
"There's so many people," Alyssa says, as we watch people pile in to the venue from backstage. I just stare out there. I was one of those people the other night.
"It's insane," I say, still shocked at what I just thought.
"Hey, do you know where Joe is?" she asks me. I look over at her, and just stare at her. I bust out a smile and start laughing.
"What?!" she exclaims, laughing.
"Nothing, nothing," I say, putting my hands up, sarcastically. "Mrs. Trohman," I mumble.
She looks at me, jaw dropped, laughing. She slaps my arm. "No!"
"Okaaaaay," I say. "Whatever you saaaaaay."
"Shut up, Mrs. Stump."
"Hey, I wouldn't even mind that. I take that as a compliment." She rolls her eyes, still laughing, and we continue to watch everyone pile into the venue.
"PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT!" Patrick sings, at the end of the Phoenix. The venue roars with cheers, especially from Alyssa and I. They were doing phenomenal, as usual.
"Alright, so, we actually have a little bump in the road for our song choices tonight," Pete says, to the crowd. They cheer. "A good bump."
"Can we have Alyssa come on stage?" Patrick asks, looking over at us. Her jaw drops, confusingly, and I push her out on stage. Pete makes sure Joe is near her, and I watch, excitedly. Patrick glances at me quickly, giving me a smile. I smile and give him a thumbs up.
"This song is actually an old one, actually from Infinity On High. Sing along if you guys know it," Patrick says. The venue roars with cheers again, and the chords to "I'm Like a Lawyer" begin, the lights dimming.
This was going to be perfect.
