*I went to Monumentour last week! It was AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend*
"You and Joe seem to be doing well," I tell Alyssa, as we walk up towards the venue where FOB was playing tonight.
"You think so? I think he's really cool," she says.
"Well if you didn't, you wouldn't have fallen asleep cuddled up next to each other," I tell her. We both laugh as we turn the corner on the sidewalk.
Hundreds of fans were lined up outside. It was crazy how this was me just a few weeks ago. The venue we were walking up to was called the Huntington Center, and it seemed huge. I've never been here before, let alone never being in Ohio. Alyssa and I wanted to go out and grab dinner before the show, and we told the guys we'd just walk back since we were only a few blocks away. The funny thing was, you never would guess we knew the guys. I had my FOB Chicago crewneck on, a pair of denim shorts, and my Vans on. Alyssa had something similar on, opting for a long sleeve shirt and the FOB vest. I see the first few people that were last in line look at us. The line was extremely long.
"Thank goodness there are gates," I say to Alyssa, looking at all of them. Almost everyone looks at us as we walk by. As we get closer to the venue, someone grabs my arm.
"DO YOU KNOW PATRICK?!" some girl screams at me, holding onto my arm. I try to release from her grip and say nothing, but she was holding onto my arm with two hands. I start to get worried. I didn't want to say anything.
"Let go of her, thanks," Alyssa says, trying to rip the girl's grip off my arm. This girl just wouldn't let go, and now I was terrified.
"No, I don't, now let me go," I say, finally letting go of her grip, and backing up from her.
"SHE'S PATRICK'S GIRLFRIEND!" I hear someone scream. Everyone starts to scream, trying to move the gates so they could get out. I back up even more, almost to the point where I'm on the main road. Jeez.
"Let's go," Alyssa says, taking my arm, and we speed up walking. Everyone screams at us, and I just look at everyone.
"JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE HIS GIRLFRIEND DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET TO CUT THE LINE!" I hear another person scream. I rip my arm from Alyssa's hold, stop, and turn around. I walk up to this girl behind the gate. Now I'm just annoyed.
"April, April, let's go," Alyssa says, grabbing my arm. "Just ignore it." I look at the people stare at me as I walk away.
When we get inside the venue, Alyssa and I go right back stage. The guys were warming up, and I was still 'confused' about what when on outside.
"Well hello there," Patrick says, smiling at me. I smile for a second but it goes away.
"Why the sad face?" Pete notices.
"Your fans tonight are a little bit crazy," I say looking at my stretched out left arm on my sweatshirt. Patrick looks at me confused. I wasn't upset like Pete said I was, I guess I was just a little shocked at everything.
"There's a lot of them out there, not surprising though," Alyssa says to the guys. Pete shrugs and the guys continue to warm up.
I wasn't sure if I was able to handle all of this. It's the not the first time I've questioned my relationship with Patrick. I mean, for Pete's (no pun intended) sake, we rushed into it. I knew it'd hurt Patrick if I even told him I questioned my relationship with him, and I'm sure Pete's caught onto it by now...so who was there to talk to about it? Alyssa, honestly, would just tell Patrick about it, and Joe might tell Alyssa, so I couldn't say anything to either of them. I look over at Andy getting ready for the show. We didn't talk much, but maybe that was a good thing. Maybe he had the best advice.
