If the future was overt,
And things were to revert,
Would we have chosen
Something that would not hurt,
Something that would not
Disturb our comfort,
Something that included
No effort?
Something easy. . .
Something that matches. . .
An identical type
That we wouldn't dare,
Away to swipe.
A major that we would know
we would love,
That turned out to be
a part of our daily life.
Or a true friend that didn't have
Any cruelness or darkness inside.
That would scar our hearts.
Tearing us apart.
