Let me tell you a story about a soul mate.

I think you might have heard something like it before.

Ava loved playing games, as it made her feel complete.

She had an urge to win every single match

It was a burning desire that kept her in control.

As if she was sitting at the front seat.

Moving left and right,

Controlling the wheel

When she was nineteen, a player saw her from afar.

While she was sitting in the garden of her university

They were soul mates and they knew of that within a heartbeat

Perfectly designed for each other's endgame

But they messed it up so recklessly without setting a claim.

Ron made it seem like he got into her game

through jumping down her maze's frame.

The shouts, denials and heated objections, was a hint of their obsession

Though they used to make up through sarcasm,

Never giving up as their ego and selfishness,

Was eating them from the inside

Her feelings for him grew,

His feelings for her got him screwed.

But, playing games with guys and winning is how she functions

The maze was all in her head. It was all she was thinking about.

It made her forget her heart's target as she wanted to be Misses Right instead

The guy was so confused and did not know which path to choose.

Her cards were seen by him clearly, while pleasures were served by nightfall.

Then, it all hit him and he started wondering and doubting

If she likes him more or if it's only the game that matters the most

He knew very well that if he won he will lose her.

Case closed.

So while playing cautious, he made it look like she was victorious until he figures it out.

But then it was over for him. He decided to change her maze's path and play a game of his own

For, neither losing nor winning was his only choice

Then out of nowhere and unprepared, he had to change university

When complications hit his family

As for her everything became so heavy

and regret started to kick in, had she done something before.

But a new chapter had to forcefully begin.

One year of his absence and her midway depression

She was sitting in a cafe on a rainy Sunday

Ron came inside only not alone but with his new lover

She still loves him. And he absolutely still does

He shook his head not wanting to be blinded by his heart's fuzz nor by her games.

So, he kept hanging onto his new lover's back as he visited memory lane

With a long flashback bringing her to his side

While knives where killing Ava from the inside.

For, that's what happens when you mess with Earth's balance,

When it comes to soul mates so perfect for one another as one would end up calling an ambulance.
