Song

We were rewriting the stars
With our no ordinary promises
And following one another
through their trail

Clearing the repercussions
from my vision
Has altered all my decisions
I no longer saw myself
in any reflection
I only saw scars
Everything was so bizarre

Dancing on a street full of bars
Dangerous men, whiskey and cigars
Guiding him where to
place his hands
Then admiring my hips
Even on small mounts of sand
Where we were struggling to stand

Red lights, dark nights
Mas's drum, and Naz's mum
Sneaking into an abandoned building
Hand in hand so quietly
Not wanting to get caught
For it's easy for them to spot
Whether we were in the backseat, parking lot or Monte Carlo

Driving to my own death
of an unknown destination
Inhaling a new situation
enjoying the ride while it lasted
In his early twenties, in my last teens
before the beast of realization appeared
Before the airplane adhered

Hand in hand so quietly
Not wanting to get caught
For it's easy for them to spot
Whether we were in the backseat, parking lot or Monte Carlo
