Sophie awoke in a familiar dark cell.
Groaning, she sat up.
"That arsehole... I swear I'm going to tear his ectoplasmic arse atom by atom..." She mumbled as she stretched, making her joints pop.
"You sound like my dad... Just... British version." She heard a familiar voice next to her. Turning around, her amber eyes focused on the eldest Fenton sibling.
"Is anyone else awake?"
"Nope... Just me and you." Dan sighed.
"Ugh... I wish some people wouldn't wake up... But it's wrong." She heaved a breath.
"Yeah. Sometimes I wish I was an A-lister so I could shove them into lockers and keep them there for eternity."
"But then they'll become like Sidney Pointdexter, and we don't want another Sidney, let alone two." Danny's sleepy voice rang out from behind the two teens before a yawn escaped his lips.
"Who is Sidney Pointdexter?" Sophie asked, tilting her head to the side.
"Just a little ghost who overshadowed Danny through a mirror in a locker, trapping him in a different time." Sam woke up.
"Oh, that Sidney." Jasmine's voice signaled that she awoke too.
"Let's find a way out. I know these cellars like the back of my hand, but I need help opening the cell doors since they're human and ghost proof." Sophie limped to the locked door.
"How're you feeling, anyway?" Dan asked, walking up to her and grasping the bars on the door.
"Still a bit painful, but nothing that I can't handle." Sophie leaned her forehead onto the cold bars with a relieved sigh.
Suddenly, her head shot up to look up at the taller boy.
"Dan, you're pyrokinetic, right?" Sophie's face split into a knowing grin.
Dan nodded, catching on to her train of thoughts.
"And Danny's cryokinetic." He told.
"Great!" Her grin widened even more.
"Dan, can you heat the door up enough for it to glow red, but not enough to melt it?" Sophie instructed as soon as both boy halfas transformed.
"Sure."
"And Danny? Can you freeze the whole door?"
"Yeah, sure."
While the two boys were working, Sophie, Sam, and Jazz woke everyone up and rounded them up in front of the door.
"Fenton, you ready?" Sophie asked Dan, who nodded in response, taking up an attack position.
"On three. One..." She started counting down.
"Two..."
"Three!" They both kicked the door, resulting in it falling down in a heap of metal and ice shards.
Cheering, Sophie hugged Dan, in the spur of the moment.
"I... uh...Sorry, I... I wasn't thinking right..." She stuttered, cheeks flaming.
"...It's fine..." Dan answered with a chuckle, his cheeks flushing.
"Oh, come on lovebirds! You can make googly eyes at each other later!" Sam sassed.
Grumbling, Sophie led the group of students through the intricate hallways of the cellars.
As they sneaked up the stairs, Sophie stopped everyone.
