After the rodeo was over, I went to go meet Bella. What I didn't want to come across, is Codey kissing some other girl.
"Codey!" I yelled at him.
"One second, Ashley." Codey said, pulling me to the side.
"What?" Codey asked me in a rude tone,
"Why are you kissing some other girl, not that long after you kissed me?" I said, with my hands on my hips.
"It's not like we were serious."
"You're an asshole." I snapped, then making a dramatic entrance.
I started to cry. I couldn't believe how stupid I was. I finally found Bella.
"Jesus what in this countryside happened to you?" Bella asked, handing me a tissue.
"So I went on a date with Codey, and he kissed me, and today I saw him making out with some other girl!" I said through sobs.
She pulled me into a hug.
"That ass isn't worth your time!" Bella said, rubbing my back.
"You're right."
"Of course I am. You deserve so much better."
"He was so HOT though."
"Looks don't mean shit if they're not a good person."
I hugged Bella. It's so good to have a friend like her in my life.
