I put on a dress and straightened my hair. I put some light makeup on, but not too much. I don't want him to think that I'm trying too hard. Because I'm not. Oh my god but I still can't believe he chose ME to go out with him tonight. I kept on singing love songs outside and inside my head.
"Honey are you ready?" My mom called.

Codey was sitting down at a table, looking pretty happy. He seemed like he was blushing a little bit. I smiled and sat down with him. I had cash with me to pay for the date, even though it tradition that the man pays. I've always had the give a giant middle finger to tradition attitude. I never cared what society thought of me. I'm not one of the skinny girls. I have curves, and my mother always said that I'm lucky to have them. Sometimes I don't feel that way. But I only got one body. At least I'm not one of those girls throwing up before they even digest.
"You look great." I said. I could feel my cheeks turning red. Codey just laughed, showing his perfect white teeth.
I touched my cheek, almost having some sort of very mild panic attack.
Another women walked in. And she looked way to familiar.
