I woke up from the dream terrified, but also, kind of happy. There were tears forming in my eyes thinking about Codey. I decided to go out and look for the Ghost Horse again. I got dressed quickly, and jogged down the stairs and ran into ti the gates of my horse pasture, and unlocked the, and put a halter on Nikki. I took her into the barn and got tacked up, and grabbed some rope, and galloped off into the forest. As sure as I was, I saw the Ghost Horse in the distance. I tried to catch her, but she ran away.
I turned away and cantered the other direction. Maybe some things are just best to be left alone. I took Nikki into the barn and untracked and and returned her to her pasture. I felt a horse nose on my back. I looked back and there was the Ghost Horse.
