She moaned softly and turned around to put a leg over him. He tightened his arm around her, resting his chin softly over her head, while her cheek rested on his chest.
"Good morning," he chuckled, kissing her forehead.
"Morning," she smiled.
Then she remembered a few things. The buyers. Amé returns today. Leila's story. She sat up immediately and ran to the bathroom.
No period yet.
"You okay babe?" He stood by the doorframe. "The ladies told me you were sick and you've been sick since yesterday but... beside the constant peeing and paleness," he chuckled, "you're fine."
"Having sex doesn't mean you're fine," she grumbled, and she said it to take his mind off of it in case he'd put the pieces together, but she only worried him more.
"If you're sick I can call in the family doctor. I'm sorry about last night–"
"No," she sighed and shook her head, "no." She grabbed his hand and kissed it with a smile. "Last night was fucking amazing." And it was. Almost every night has been, but last night, with the stress and anger of a hundred bickering lawyers and maids, it was like drugs. And Ina knew exactly what drugs did, and it was just that, except for the fucked up aftermath. "Thank you for–"
He smirked, with his bottom lip caught by his teeth, "not a problem."
She blushed. He's so fucking sexy.
He grabbed her hand from her lap and kissed it. "Amé is at the airport, she's on her way."
"Good," she nodded, took a deep breath and withdrew her thoughts from her memories. She flushed the toilet, did what she had to do, and washed her hands. "You're too comfortable with me."
"Yes because peeing is such a horrendous act," he said, and she laughed, her hair moving forward and hiding her grin from him.
"Babe."
"Yeah?"
She hesitated. Could she tell him about what Leila told her? His heart would break. She knew they both wanted to have children, and if he couldn't, that'd honestly break him. She couldn't bear to see him suffer. She couldn't see him beat himself up over something that wasn't his fault.
But does she tell him? That her period has been late for two weeks and a half? What if it's just the stress and it arrives tomorrow?
But then what if she is? How'd she tell him that not only are they living off of cents and pennies, but now they had a baby on the way?
But what if she isn't and he's infertile? What if she isn't and she tells him and he thinks he's infertile when he's not and it was the girl? What are the odds that she is when she's been taking her birth control down to every rule?
