Listen guys, I know I haven't posted in a while. But I've been busy. But I promise you, once summer starts I'll start posting more. Sorry this chapter is so short....

The next day, I woke up late. My alarm hadn't rang. I rushed all morning. I tied my hair in a bun. My outfit consisted of a pair of sweats, black tee, a teal hoodie and my white vans. I grabbed my bag and walked downstairs. I grabbed a granola and left.
Once I arrived to the school, Mr Davis had just started class. I sat at my normal seat. Louis glanced at me. I gave him a sad smile. "So class, I today we will discuss Perks Of Being A Wallflower. Could I have any volunteer?" Everyone's hand stayed down. I lifted mine. "Ah, Miss Vargas, please step up." I stood up and walked to the podium. "Give us your opinion on the novel." I nodded.
"Perks Of a Being A Wallflower is about Charlie, a freshman. He's not the biggest geek in the school, and is by no means popular. Charlie's shy, introspective, intelligent beyond his years yet socially awkward, he is a wallflower, a person who, because of shyness, unpopularity, or lack of a partner, remains at the side of any activity. Charlie is caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it. he attempts to navigate his way through uncharted territory: the world of first dates and mix tapes, family dramas and new friends; the world of sex, drugs, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, when all one requires is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite. But he can't stay on the sideline forever. Standing on the fringes of life offers a unique perspective. But there comes a time to see what it looks like from the dance floor."
Everyone started to clap. "Very good. Now give me your opinion on Charlie." I nodded.
"Well, Charlie is just like any other teen. He falls into influences. He starts to see the world in a different way. He's trying to make it through life. He's afraid of being alone in a way. He has choices to make and mistakes to discover. He for once falls in love and makes new friends, He has problems just like any other human. I believe anyone could relate to Charlie."
"Very well done, Miss Diana. Anyone else?" Louis raised his hand. "I'd like to go, Professor Davis." Professor Davis seemed surprised but nodded. "Go ahead, Louis." Louis walked to the podium. I walked to my seat.
"Perks Of Being A Wallflower in my opinion is about a Fifteen-year-old, Charlie. Charlie is coping with the suicide of his friend, Michael. To lessen the fear and anxiety of starting high school alone, Charlie starts writing letters to a stranger, someone he heard was nice but has never met in person. At school, Charlie finds a friend and mentor in his English teacher, Bill. He also overcomes his chronic shyness and approaches a classmate, Patrick, who, along with his step-sister Sam, become two of Charlie's BFFs. During the course of the school year, Charlie has his first date and his first kiss, he deals with bullies, he experiments with drugs and drinking, and he makes friends, loses them, and gains them back. He creates his own soundtrack through a series of mix tapes full of iconic songs, reads a huge stack of classic books, and gets involved in the Rocky Horror Picture Show audience-participation culture. Charlie has a relatively stable home life, though, with supportive, if distant, parents to fall back on. Unfortunately, a disturbing family secret that Charlie has repressed for his entire life surfaces at the end of the school year. Charlie has a severe mental breakdown and ends up hospitalized. Charlie's final letter closes with feelings of hope: getting released from the hospital, forgiving his aunt Helen for what she did to him, finding new friends during sophomore year, and trying his best not to be a wallflower. Charlie hopes to get out of his head and into the real world, participating in life instead of just watching it fly by."
