-Oliver's P.O.V-
The rain falling was a nice distraction from our horrible reality. Well, the rain and the fact that even with her hair drenched and the slight mascara stain beneath her eyes, Skyler was still the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.

I saw Skyler looking uneasy, as if she might cry, not that I could blame her. Pain throbbed through my heart. Collapsing to her knees, her hands met her pale face. Almost instantly I was beside her, holding her tight in a hug. I took her head gently in my hands and stared blankly into her eyes, they were a gorgeous shade of lavender that made me want to melt, right there, right then. Without thinking I pressed her to my chest and wrapped her in my arms, thankfully she didn't seem to mind. What happened next sent chills down my side, she buried her face into my shoulder.

That feeling I had as we sat there in one another's embrace made me wish we could stay like that forever. I felt her tears drip onto my already drenched T-shirt.

"Shh, hey, hey, I've got you, you're not alone." I said as I cupped her face in my hands. Gently with the pads of my thumbs I wiped the tears away as they fell from her eyes. I remained silent.

Slowly she nodded as she struggled to speak. "I'm sorry." She croaked
I couldn't help but smile as pain filled my eyes.

Hugging her close once more I whispered. "Don't apologize."

My lips were so close I felt them brush her ear as I spoke. I stood up and offered my hand down to her, which she took. Calmly I watched her stand to her feet.

God she's beautiful.
