Fire

Kassidys POV

I was in school sitting at my desk as usual fire alarm went off. "This is not a drill I repeat the is not a drill!" The lady on the intercom said. The whole classroom started to smell like smoke even more. I started coughing. "Everyone! Outside now!" Ms. Flower said.

I kinda hide so I can be last to make sure everyone gets out safely. It started getting really hot in the room. The fire was close. After everyone was out, even the teacher went out. People were scrambling to how through the very little exits we have.

I stood against the wall waiting for people to rush by me. I heard coughing from a little girl. "Help!" She cried. I followed her voice to find her surrounded by the red and orange flames, curled up in a ball. Then I realized, it was violet. Henrys girlfriend. I had to get her out.

I gently grab her hand. "Come with me! You'll be safe!" I shout. I could feel the flames slapping my body, leaving burns everywhere. The pain was getting to much to bare. She stood up and I used my very weak magic to make a pathway for her. She nods and runs through it, letting go of my hand.

The pain was too much and I collapse on the hot tile ground, I hope she is okay. My eyes close, and I go unconscious.

Emma's POV

I was at my desk when I got a call. "Sheriff swan speaking." I answer. "Help! There a fire at storybrooke high school!" A woman says on the other line. I dropped my pen and I clicking in my hand. "High school?" I repeat. "Yes! Please hurry!" she begs.

"We'll be right there mam" I say before quickly hanging up. I jump out of my seat and shout "fire at the high school!" I got everyones attention. "Henry!" Regina screams. "kassidy!" Killian shouts that the same time. I grab my jacket and all of us head out.

Time skip

I turn off the car. I finally take a moment to look at the building. It was up in huge flames. Me, Killian, and regina rush to a fire truck. "Is anyone else in there!?" I say. The man standing next to it nodded. I gulp. Thats when I saw Elsa using her powers to try to help calm the fire.

I run over to her. "Emma! I need your help!" She should over the sound of her magic and the flames. I nod and shout regina to get over here. She hurries and all three of us use our powers to help calm the fire.

Killians POV

I got out of the car. Red, orange, and yellow flame dancing all around the school. Bricks and boards collapsing before us. My heart was beating out of my chest. I hope kassidy is okay. I follow the girls. They ran over to help Elsa. I look around to see if I can find her.

Nothing. But I did spot mum. I run over to her. She had an oxygen mask over her mouth and nose. But she takes it off as soon as she sees me. "are you okay?' I ask. She nods. "Do you know where kassidy is?" I ask. Her eyes widen. "You can't find her!?" She exclaims.

It all clicked. I heard two people run up to us. I look to find dave and violet. Henrys girlfriend. Dave immediately rushes to his wife's side. "Deputy jones, kassidy saved me. She used the last bit of her magic to make a pathway for me to get away. I thought she was behind but she wasn't. Shes still in there!" she cried.

I thank her and run towards the building, hearing mum and dave shout my name telling me not to go. I glance at emma who was watching me with fearful eyes. I finally her to the doorway of the building and a huge heat wave hits me. Fire threatens to touch me as the flames dance terribly close.

I ignore them and keep running. "kassidy!" I shout over and over again. Thats when I see it. A silhouette of somebody. As the girl burns my skin, and I cough furiously, I got towards the shape. As I got closer I saw who it was. Kassidy. I gasp, sucking in smoke.

I kneel down next to her. She was unconscious. I picked her up bridal style, rushing to get her out of this bloody dangerous place. As I looked at her more, I could see horrible burn cover her body. I forced my aching lays to run fast and out the door.

I took a step outside to see everyone staring at me. Emma rushed up next to me. "Killian, bring her over here." She says pointing to a woman with an oxygen mask. I rush to put kassidy down on the stretcher. "sir, we are going to take her to the hospital." The lady informs us.

I nod as she gets to work putting the oxygen mask on kass and putting her in the ambulance. Henry runs up to us. "She saved violet." He says. I nod. Emma turns me around to hive me a bone crushing hug. "I thought I would loose you." She said, muffled by my shoulder.

I pet her hair. "Swan, how many bloody times do I have to tell you that I'm a survivor." I say in a annoyed tone. She laughs and pulls back. "Every time."

Time skip

After we knew everyone was alive and being treated, me and regina drove to the hospital. The nurse let us in and told us what room kassidy is in. We all speed walk to that room. I stop dead in my tracks at the doorway.

The image I saw was heartbreaking. Kassidy was in the bed hooked up to many machines and burns all over her skin. My mouth opens agape. Emma gently pushes me in. I ran to kassidy gong to her side. I gingerly grab her wrapped hand.

"Oh kass. Im so very sorry I wasnt there sooner." I cried into her hand. "You...don't... have..to...be." I heard her say in a rally weak voice. I look up to see her awake.
