One year later...

It was their first anniversary.

Jade woke up early feeling excited. She plans to cook breakfast for Michael.

She just learned to cook. Jesy thought her last week and she wanna surprise Michael.

She smiled and peck the sleeping Michael on the cheeks before getting up.

Yes. They already live together. When they were in their 6th month of their relationship she moved in with him. At first Jade was having second thoughts because Jesy would be alone. But Jesy assured her it would be fine since Ashton will now move with her too.

She was quick to finish cooking pancakes. There were eggs, hotdogs and bacons. Oh and also fried rice. The usual breakfast.

Just as she finish setting up the table she was surprise when arms were now wrapped around her waist. She smiled when she saw her boyfriend.

"Good morning babe." Michael said in a husky voice. He then look at the table and saw the foods prepared. "Oh. Did you cook all of this?"

She nod. "Of course. I ask Jesy to teach me so I could surprise you." She proudly said.

"I am surprise. Surprise that you didn't burn the kitchen down."

"Hey!" She hit him in the chest.

Oh yes. She was a bad cook. Especially when its frying cause of the oil. She only knows how to cook instant noodles, well is that even considered cooking? She also knows how to make soup. Like the one she made for Michael a year ago when he was sick.

"I'm not that bad of a cook." She said pouting.

"Okaaay." Michael said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Meanie." Jade said.

"I'm your meanie." And he gave her a peck on the cheeks. "I was just messing with you babe. This will be my greatest breakfast ever." Then he sat down.

Jade also sat across him. She was blushing.

They both ate in silent. Jade was waiting for him to greet her a Happy Anniversary. But they were almost done he still hasn't said a thing.

"So anything special today?" She ask hoping he will remember.

Michael look at her. "Well I plan on going to the mall today."

"Why?"

"Theres this new Italian restaurant that just opened there and I wanna watch that new movie."

(A/N I couldn't think of a movie)

"Oh." She tried not to sound disappointed. Maybe later he will remember.

"Of course you'll come with me." He smiled and stand up taking his empty place in the sink.

She force out a smile.

He doesn't remember.

They had tried different cuisines at the Italian Restaurant that Michael has said this morning. They even watch the movie he has been wanting to watch since the trailer got released.

They also roam around the mall. Looking for things that they might want to buy.

But all through out the day Jade wasn't feeling happy. She was upset Michael has forgotten their special day. Their first anniversary.

They were already back in the car.  All day Jade try to hide how upset she was but now she couldn't. She was too upset she doesn't care anymore.

"Babe, Jadey, are you okay?" Michael ask.

Jade looked at him coldly. "Yes." She said and closed her eyes trying to get some sleep.

Jade woke up. She look outside and saw that this was not their place. She look at the driver seat but panic when she did not saw Michael.

The place was dark. There were trees plants and some flowers.

She look at her front and saw a blue sticky note. 

Hey babe... Now that you're awake go out of the car and look for the lights. Theres a surprise waiting for you

She went out and start walking. She saw a glint of variety of lights behind the plants with beautiful flowers on it. She went in and saw the lights with different colors.

There stood a gaze boo designed beautifully. There were ribbons and fake butterflies sticking on it.

There were also a table for two.

There she saw a banner that says:

Happy First Anniversary Babe❤️

She felt hot tears slowly falling down her eyes. She gasped when a pair of arms wrapped around her.

"Happy anniversary Jadey. I love you."

She faced him and start hitting him on the chest.

"Woah woah Jade... What's wrong? Didn't you like it?"

Jade stop. "Of course I do. I love it to be exact. Its just that I thought you forgot."

"I wouldn't forget such a special say."

"Its just that...this morning you didn't even greet me."

"Well I wanted to surprise you." Michael smiled widely.

"I love you dork."

"I love you too."
