Rumors flew around the school quickly about the freak and the artist. It seemed every person who shared a class with the mute boy seemed to come up and ask him about  Sam and him. Never in his life had Colby been glad for his chapped lips that seemed to remain still. The silence was all his peers received.

By the time lunch came around, Colby's heart was a pounding mess, his stomach whirling in protest. Normally he would sit in the Library until lunch had passed but his mind protested him. He wanted nothing more than see the smiling blonde, his new friend. Friend was a foreign word but Colby loved the sound of it.  Who knew the broken masterpiece could find a friend.

Just know that these updates will be very slow and sparse. Though, I started another Solby piece called, "Sugar and Alcohol" That is being co-written. So to get your Solby fix check that out!! Thank you all for supporting me in everything I do, it really does mean a lot! ~Nightmare
