Sam never got sick of hearing Colby's laughter. The two lovers ran around the park they once met at so long ago. The days of pain long behind the two. Colby's dad was in custody and Colby was staying with his boyfriend and his family. The school year was over and the two planned to go to college together, the two fallen deep in love from day one, even if they had never admitted it out loud.

"Sammy stop it!" Colby giggled as Sam hurled purple paint at the boy. Sam let out a full body laugh, doubling over. The brunette retaliating with his own blue paint, landing in his blond hair.

"Colby, that wasn't nice." Sam tried to say sternly before doubling back over in laughter.

The bruises had long ago faded, and Sam finally unlocked his closed lips. Colby was saved, and before the two knew it they both found safety and love within each other.

The bruised boy was now covered in real paint, laughing. The blond artist had found his masterpiece.
