The brunette was long gone by the time Sam got up from the ground. His artwork was long ago abandoned and his thoughts were swirled with bruises and pain filled blue eyes. Colby's face was a mask, but Sam could see into the cracks. The boy was beyond broken, he wanted to fix that.
Though a more sadistic part of the artist's mind conjured up masterpieces filled with sad eyes and a brilliant shade of blue. He wanted to capture Colby's story, not the rumors floating around school like he originally planned, no he wanted to capture the real reason behind the eyes and bruises.
Sam was lost in a sea of ideas, on paintings and fixing someone who clearly didn't long to be fixed. He had no idea where to begin.
