*It's been two weeks since I first moved to California and I love it here. Everyone is really nice, but I don't hang out with many people. Since I'm now friends with Niall, not many people invite me places. They still hate Niall, call him names, beat him up, and its terrible. I'm always telling Niall he needs to stand up for himself but he doesn't listen.*
“Hey Blair, you wanna go to the movies tonight? A bunch of us are going.” Asked Jake.
“Yeah! That sounds fun, what time?”
“7:30 is when the movie starts, we're seeing Insidious. I'll see you there.” He gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked off.
“Bye!”Jake and I had become really good friends. He's still mean to Niall, but once you get to know him he's really nice. The only thing is, he likes me, but I'm still not interested in him.
I went home, did my homework, then walked over to Nialls house. A regular friday. He opened the door with a big smile on his face. “Hi.”
“Hey, I needa ask you something.” “Let's go upstairs.” He said jogging up the stairs entering his room. “What's up?”
“Uhm… well tonight I'm going to the movies. Do you wanna come? It'll be fun!”
He didn't looked convinced. “Just you and me?“
I shook my head.
“Then no.“He sat on his bed.
“Nialler! Please come with me, I promise nothing bad will happen.” I sat next to him so our shoulders were touching.
“Is Jake going? If so, I shouldn't go. I'll get my bum kicked.” I started laughing.
“Then fight back. Jake is a bully… he's secretly weak. Niall, look, you really need to defend yourself! I don't care what you say, you're coming tonight, and don't let Jake push you around.”
“Blair… I don't know. If I go, Jake will be mad. You know that he likes you and if I go, you won't be spending time with him.” I turned his head so we were facing each other.
“Niall, who cares. Let's just go have fun.” I kissed him on the cheek then stood up. “I'll be over here a quarter to 7. Be ready.”
*Nialls P.O.V.*
Blair. She was my only friend, and I liked her. She's nice, funny, beautiful, and I love everything about her. I was actually excited that she invited me tonight, hopefully everything goes good.
*Blairs P.O.V.*
“So what movie are we seeing?” Niall asked as we parked the car. “I think its called Insidious. I'm not sure what its about.” I said honestly. “Oh, do you like scary movies?” “No, not at all. I get scared easily.” Niall smiled at me, “Then I'll have to protect you.” Niall and I bought our movie tickets then headed inside. As soon as we walked in I saw Jake... He had a smile on his face until he saw Niall. This was going to be a long night. “What's he doing here? No fags allowed.” Jake said. “I invited him, he's my friend.” I interlocked my arm with Niall’s and smiled. “Fine. Let's just watch the damn movie.” Jake said, obviously angered. It was very odd. Niall was on one side, Jake was on my other. Everything was going good until the movie ended.
