Day 7
Sean had been really kind for helping me out in the hospital. As much as he can, he visits Zoe to take care of her. Since I went back to school after the accident, everyone had been very helpful. Each one of us are taking shifts in the hospital to stay with Zoe. Jace, Ava, Sean and even Mikael and Anna.

However, Mrs. Anderson couldn't make it on the first week because she has a lot on her plate. She is devastated, but we understand what she's going through. With Mr. Anderson surrendering himself to the police, and finally taking responsibility for everything he caused, she has to take care of everything.

It's sad that it had to be this way. It didn't have to go this far. I hope it didn't have to.

Day 10
I finally met Mrs. Anderson. She was very kind and soft-hearted. I feel very bad for everything that happened to her. She's also a victim. A victim who lost a daughter and now her other daughter is in a coma. And for what? For all the same reasons.

She did not deserve this. None of us did.

I know she's trying to be strong. We all are.

Speaking to her, reminded me so much of Zoe. Now, I understand where she got her traits. The way she talks, she got it from her mother. They have this soft, angelic voice. You can hear innocence talking. But knowing Zoe, she also has this annoying but cute voice that speaks pure sassiness. I didn't mind whatever voice she uses. I just want to hear her talk again. I can live with her sassiness and over-confident side, but I can never live without hearing her voice.

"Come on, Zoe. Wake up."

Day 42
Today, she woke up and I felt the happiest man alive. I'm so thankful to see her smile again, and hear her talking. There's nothing I could wish more than have her back.

Hearing Sean say that we had to rush to the hospital earlier made my heart jump out of my chest. I thought it was bad news and something happened to her, but little did I know that it would be the best news that I would receive.

It may take some time to have her catch up with everything that happened while she was in a coma, but I know she will be okay and things will finally be okay. We can finally be at peace. Our lives can finally go back to normal. We can live the way we want to live. We don't have to run anymore. We don't have to be scared.

Zoe and I can finally be together. And I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

Day 48
All smiles and pure love. Everything is well. Everyone is getting along. We found a new family in each other. The horrors, disasters in our life has bought us to find each other.

A lot of things happened in a span of few months, but it also came with alot of things that we will forever keep in our hearts. The people we met. The lessons we learned. The things we witnessed. It's all here. Forever.

I heard Zoe talking to Sean earlier. She was very appreciative of everything he's done for her. She was grateful for having him in her life. He never left. He never gave up on her. He bought her to the right direction. He protected her. He's done a lot for her. And for that, it made me realize that not a lot of people will stick to your side, but whoever does, that person is true and loyal. Sean was that person to Zoe. He was not just a friend to her, he was her rock.

And as for me?
I received the greatest gift.
Her. My lifeguard.
